CHRISTMAS MORNING WIFE SAVER
I got this recipe from a very good friend of mine. I needed something quick and easy for Christmas Morning and Wow this was it. It tastes great. I left the Tabasco sauce out.

Steps:
- In a 9"X 13" buttered pan, put 8 slices of bread that the crust has been removed.
- Add ham layered over bread.
- Lay cheese over ham.
- Cover with rest of bread.
- In bowl beat eggs, salt and pepper.
- To egg mixture add dry mustard, onion, green pepper, worcestershire sauce, milk and Tabasco (optional) Pour over bread, cover and let stand in fridge overnight.
- In the morning cover with crushed corn flakes.
- Melt 1/4 1b butter and pour over top of flakes.
- Bake uncovered for 1 hour at 350 degrees F.
- When baked let sit for 10 minutes before serving.

Steps:
- In a 9x13" buttered glass baking dish, put 8 pieces of bread, adding pieces to cover dish entirely.
- Cover bread with slices of ham, etc.
- sliced thin.
- Lay slices of cheddar cheese on top of ham and cover with slices of bread to make it like a sandwich.
- In a bowl beat eggs, salt and pepper.
- Add dry mustard, onion, green pepper, milk, Worcestershire sauce and tabasco.
- Pour over sandwiches.
- Cover and let stand in refrigerator overnight.
- In morning: Melt 1/4 lb.
- butter.
- Pour over top.
- Cover with Special K.
- Bake uncovered 1 hour at 350 degrees F.
- Let sit 10 minutes before serving.
- Serve with fresh cut up fruit and hot cinnamon rolls.
CHRISTMAS MORNING WIFE SAVER
Steps:
- Butter a 9x13 inch baking dish or spray with cooking oil.
- Cut and fit 5 slices of bread to fit over entire bottom of dish. Depending on the size of your bread and casserole dish you might need more bread. Layer the slices of ham then top with the cheddar cheese. Cut and fit the remaining 5 slices of bread to completely cover the ham and cheese.
- In a large bowl whisk together the eggs with the pepper, dry mustard, chives, Worcestershire sauce and hot sauce. Add the milk and whisk until well combined. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the casserole.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and refrigerate overnight.
- The next morning preheat your oven to 350°F.
- Pour the melted butter evenly over the casserole and sprinkle with the crushed corn flakes over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven until set and lightly browned, about 1 hour. Let casserole stand for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

CHRISTMAS MORNING WIFE SAVER
This is a recipe that was handed down to me by my Mom. I use it Christmas morning because I can make it the night before, store it in the refrigerator and throw it in the oven Christmas morning to cook while the family opens gifts. Once gift opening is done - breakfast is ready! Kids love it.

- 1. In a 9X13 glass baking dish, place 8 slices of bread. Cover bread with 8 slices of ham or peameal. Lay 8 slices of cheddar cheese on top of bacon or ham then cover with remaining 8 slices of bread. Should look like a sandwich.
- 2. In a bowl, beat eggs with salt and pepper. To the egg mixture add dry mustard, onion, Worcestershire sauce and milk. Pour over sandwiches. Cover and let stand in fridge overnight.
