1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup confectioners' sugar
1 egg
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 ⅔ cups chopped pecans

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch pan.
  • In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and confectioners' sugar until smooth. Combine the flour and cocoa; stir in to the creamed mixture.
  • Bake for 12 minutes in the preheated oven. In a small bowl, stir together the egg, sweetened condensed milk and pecans. Pour over the prepared crust.
  • Bake for an additional 20 minutes in the preheated oven, until set and lightly browned. Cool in pan before cutting into bars.

3 large eggs, lightly beaten
1 cup corn syrup
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1-1/2 cups pecan halves
1 unbaked pastry shell (9 inches)

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the eggs, corn syrup, sugar, chips, butter and vanilla until well blended. Stir in pecans. Pour into pastry shell. , Bake at 350° for 50-55 minutes or until knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack. Store in the refrigerator.
