2 cups cake flour
1 cup Dutch-processed cocoa powder
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup buttermilk
2 eggs
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups powdered sugar
4 tablespoons milk
2 tablespoons coconut oil
purple food coloring
blue food coloring
edible glitter

Steps:

  • For the donuts, heat oven to 375°F Grease and flour pan. Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, nutmeg, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  • Stir in buttermilk, eggs, butter and vanilla; beat until just combined.
  • Fill each well of a donut pan 2/3 full and bake 10-12 minutes, until the top of the donuts spring back when lightly touched.
  • Bake 10-12 minutes, until the top of the donuts spring back when lightly touched.
  • Cool 5 minutes in pan; invert onto cooling rack and cool completely.
  • While the donuts cools, prepare the glaze. Mix powdered sugar, milk and coconut oil in a bowl until it reaches a smooth consistency.
  • Pour approximately ½ cup of the mixture into a small bowl. Add purple and blue food coloring drops into the bowl.
  • Gently mix, making marble-looking pattern using a small stick or skewer.
  • Dip top of the donut into the glaze, gently lift and remove.
  • Sprinkled glazed donuts with edible glitter.
  • Repeat steps 7 through 10 until all the donuts are glazed.

12 ounces biscuits
Crisco (enough to cook the amount of doughnuts in that you are making)
1 (4 ounce) baker's German chocolate bars
1/2 ounce unsweetened chocolate
1/2 cup unsalted butter
3 cups confectioners' sugar
1 1/2 cups evaporated milk
1 1/4 teaspoons vanilla extract

Steps:

  • For Doughnuts:.
  • Remove biscuits from the can and poke a hole in each one and form doughnuts.
  • Drop into hot oil and brown on both sides (about 2 minutes per side).
  • Dip into the melted chocolate sauce and enjoy!
  • For sauce:.
  • Melt chocolate and butter in saucepan over very low heat.
  • Stir in sugar, alternating with evaporated milk, blending well.
  • Raise heat to medium and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
  • Lower heat and cook/stir until mixture becomes thick and creamy (about 8 minutes).
  • Stir in vanilla, then remove from heat.
  • Put a for through the doughnut holes and stick immediately into chocolate and put on plate.

  • Put confectioners sugar in plastic bag, and toss doughnuts with it.

1 (16 1/3 ounce) can biscuits
1 (4 ounce) bar sweet chocolate (recommended ( Baker's German's)
1/2 ounce unsweetened chocolate
1/2 cup butter
3 cups powdered sugar
1 1/2 cups evaporated milk
1 1/4 teaspoons vanilla extract
chocolate chips (optional)
chocolate sprinkles (optional)
toasted coconut (optional)
colored candy (optional)
chopped pecans (optional)
store-bought glaze (optional)

Steps:

  • Preheat oil in a deep-fryer to about 360 to 375 degrees F.
  • Remove biscuits from the can. Poke a hole in each one with your thumb. Form them into doughnuts. Drop them into hot grease and brown them on both sides until they were done about 2 minutes on each side. Don't forget to flip often.
  • For the sauce:.
  • Melt the chocolate and butter in a saucepan over very low heat. Stir in the sugar, alternating with the evaporated milk, blending well. Raise the heat to medium and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Lower the heat and cook, stirring, until the mixture becomes thick and creamy, about 8 minutes. 1 pkg. (4 oz.) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate
1/2 cup finely chopped PLANTERS Unsalted COCKTAIL Peanuts

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 325°F.
  • Mix peanut butter, sugar and egg until blended. Refrigerate 30 min.
  • Roll peanut butter mixture into 18 balls. Place, 3 inches apart, on baking sheets. Flatten each ball, in crisscross pattern, with fork.
  • Bake 18 to 20 min. or until lightly browned. Cool on baking sheets 5 min. Remove to wire racks; cool completely.

1 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
4 semi-sweet chocolate baking squares, melted
1/2 cup roasted peanuts, finely chopped

Steps:

  • Preheat your oven to 325*F. Mix peanut butter, sugar and egg until well blended. Refrigerate 30 minutes. Roll peanut butter mixture into 18 balls. Place 2" apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten each ball, in a criss cross pattern with a fork.
  • Bake 18 to 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool 5 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet to a wire rack; cool completely.
  • Dip each end of the cookie into melted chocolate, shakinig off the excess. Now dip into chopped peanuts. Place cookies on wax paper(or parchment) which has been placed on the cookie sheet. Refrigerate until chocolate hardens. Enjoy!

  • To melt chocolate using microwave, heat in a microwavable bowl on high 2 minutes or until chocolate is almost melted, stirring after 1 minute. Stir until chocolate is completely melted.

1 1/2 cups flour
1/3 cup unsweetened baking cocoa
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
2/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons butter, melted
glaze
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons hot water

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325*. Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt. In separate bowl mix eggs, sugar and vanilla until thick. Combine milk and butter. Alternately combine egg mixture and milk mixture with flour mixture and mix until smooth and soft. Spray pan lightly with cooking oil. Fill with batter 2/3 full. Bake 8 minutes. Cool. Carefully remove. Repeat with rest of batter. Frost or glaze. NOTE: The pan I have makes 6 donuts at a time. After the first batch is done let the pan cool, wipe clean with cloth or paper towel and repeat process for second half.

1 cup long-grain rice
3 tablespoons dried onion flakes
1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
1 tablespoon beef bouillon granules
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 bay leaf
2 1/2 cups water
1 (14 ounce) can diced tomatoes
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
1/2 lb fully cooked smoked sausage, cut into 1/4-inch slices
1/2-3/4 lb fresh shrimp, medium size, peeled and deveined

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, combine rice, onion, parsley, beef bouillon, thyme, garlic powder, black pepper, cayenne pepper, salt, and bay leaf. Pour into cellophane bag. Store in an air-tight container.
  • To make the jambalaya:
  • In a Dutch oven, combine mix, water, tomatoes, tomato sauce and smoked sausage.
  • Bring mixture to a boil over medium-high head. Cover, reduce heat and let simmer for 20 minutes.
  • Add shrimp and cook for an additional 5 to 7 minutes, or until shrimp are pink.
  • Serve immediately.
