Steps:
- Add the flour, oats, both sugars, and salt to a food processor, pulse to combine Add the butter, process until combined Place in freezer until the filling is ready Put the beer in a blender and slowly add in the xanthan gum while blender is on low-medium speed In a double broiler over medium/low heat, slowly add in the chocolate and beer until chocolate is fully incorporated. Remove from heat Stir in the berries Place 8 oven safe bowls (or one medium-large dish) on a baking sheet. Add the filling to the bowls, about 2/3 full Add the topping until almost level with the top of the bowls Bake at 350 until golden brown, about 45-50 minutes *Make sure to place something under the bowls as they tend to boil over a little bit in the oven Let cool for 10-15 minutes and serve with vanilla ice cream

Steps:
- Thaw berries if frozen, but do not drain.
- Combine berries, 1/4 cup of the sugar and 2 tablespoons water; let stand 5 minutes.
- In a 9 X 9 X 2 inch baking pan, melt butter in a 350 degree oven.
- Stir together flour, 3/4 cup sugar, and baking powder.
- Stir in milk.
- Remove baking pan from oven and pour in batter.
- Drizzle top of batter with chocolate syrup.
- Spoon undrained berries on top.
- Don't mix.
- Bake at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool slightly.
- If desired, top each serving with vanilla ice cream.
