1/4 cup chopped onion
2 tablespoons chopped green peppers
1 tablespoon butter
1 can tuna
1/2 can chow mein noodles (reserve 1/4 cup)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup water
1/8 teaspoon pepper
3/4 cup salted peanuts

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a large skillet cook and stir celery, onion and green pepper in butter until onion is tender.
  • Stir in Tuna with remaining ingredients.
  • Pour into ungreased 1-1/2 qt.
  • casserole dish.
  • Sprinkle with reserved chow mein noodles.
  • Bake uncovered for 30 minutes.

2 (6 ounce) cans tuna, drained
1 (10 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
1 (3 ounce) can mushroom stems, & pieces, drained
1 (6 ounce) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons dried onion flakes
1/2 cup frozen peas
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 cups cooked elbow macaroni
1 1/2 cups chow mein noodles
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350º F and cook elbow macaroni while oven heats.
  • Drain the macaroni and mix all the ingredients together in large bowl mixing well.
  • Pour into 3 quart baking dish. Bake for 35-45 minutes or until casserole is bubbly and golden brown on top. Serve immediately.

2 c chow mein noodles, divided (can use reg cooked pasta instead)
2 cans 6oz each tuna in water, drained
1/2 c salted cashews
1 c sliced celery
1/4 c chopped green onion
salt and pepper to taste
10 oz can cream of mushroom soup
1/4 c water

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375. Spray a 10 in baking dish with PAM. In a bowl, combine 1 c of the noodles, tuna, cashews, celery, onion and salt and pepper. Combine mushroom soup and water, then pour over other ingredients. Toss lightly, then turn into baking dish. Top with remaining chow mein noodles. Bake for 15 min or until heated through.

This is a recipe my entire family loves! It's requested at least once a week and for Birthday suppers. The recipe came from the mother of one of my childhood friends, who made some of the best food. If I'm making a double batch, I make it with cream of chicken and celery soups together.

1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup diced yellow onion
1/2 cup diced celery
6 ounces albacore tuna
6 ounces cooked egg noodles
1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
salt and pepper

Steps:

  • Mix the cream of chicken, mayonnaise and milk together in a large bowl.
  • Add the diced celery and onion.
  • Fold in the tuna, followed by the cooked egg noodles and shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Salt and pepper to your taste.
  • Place in a casserole dish. Cook at 375 degrees for about 40-45 minutes, just until the top starts to brown.

1 (12 ounce) package egg noodles
4 ¼ teaspoons kosher salt, divided
4 tablespoons salted butter, divided
5 teaspoons olive oil, divided
1 (8 ounce) package sliced fresh mushrooms
1 small white onion, minced
¼ cup all-purpose flour
2 cups milk
1 ½ cups chicken stock
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
1 ½ cups shredded white Cheddar cheese
1 cup frozen sweet peas
2 (6 ounce) cans tuna, drained
1 cup panko bread crumbs
¼ teaspoon ground paprika
2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add egg noodles and 3 teaspoons salt to the boiling water; cook until tender yet firm to the bite, about 6 minutes. Drain noodles. Return to pot and set aside.
  • Heat 2 tablespoons butter and 1 tablespoon oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add mushrooms and onion and cook until mushrooms are softened and onions are translucent, about 4 minutes. 1 cup sliced celery
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
2 cups chow mein noodles, divided use
1 (7 ounce) can canned tuna, drained
1/2 cup cashews, toasted
1/4 cup water
1 (11 ounce) can mandarin orange sections, drained

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F
  • In a heated pan, melt butter over medium heat and sauté green onions for 1 minute.
