This is a family favorite.....even my hubby who hates ranch dressing gobbles it up....go figure.... A side note....depending on your taste.....you can use the whole bottle of dressing....we do :)

Number Of Ingredients 9

4 lb russet potatoes, peeled and cubed
3 tsp chili powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
8 Tbsp butter, cubed
1 can (4 oz) diced green chilies
1 pkg shredded cheddar cheese
3/4 bottle ranch dressing (of a 16 oz bottle)

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease a 9 X 13 baking dish. Place potatoes in baking dish, add the chili powder, salt, pepper & garlic powder, mix until potatoes are evenly coated. Top with cubed butter all over the potatoes. Cover with foil & bake for 1 hour, until potatoes are tender. Remove from oven, stir in the chilies, cheese & dressing. Put back in oven uncovered for another 20 minutes or until cheese is bubbly.

Here's what you need: red potatoes, ranch dressing, garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, shredded cheddar cheese, fresh chives

9 red potatoes
½ cup ranch dressing
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
¼ cup fresh chives, chopped

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200˚C).
  • Slice the potatoes in half, lengthwise, then slice each half lengthwise three times and across four times, to cube.
  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil and drop in chopped potatoes, cook 10 minutes.
  • Drain potatoes and mix in ranch, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Transfer to a 9x13-inch (23x33 cm) baking dish.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until nicely browned.
  • While still hot, mix in cheddar and chives.
  • Allow to cool for 5 minutes.
  • Enjoy!

6 to 8 medium red potatoes (about 2 to 2-1/2 pounds), peeled and quarterered
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup prepared ranch-style dressing
1/4 cup bacon bits or crumbled cooked bacon
2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
TOPPING:
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 cups coarsely crushed cornflakes
1/4 cup butter, melted

Steps:

  • Place potatoes in a large saucepan; add water to cover. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cook, uncovered, until tender, 10-20 minutes. Drain., Combine the sour cream, dressing, bacon, parsley and 1 cup cheese. Place potatoes in a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. Pour sour cream mixture over potatoes and gently toss. Top with 1/2 cup of cheese. Combine cornflakes and butter; sprinkle over top. Bake at 350° for 40-45 minutes.

8 to 10 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch cubes
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1-1/4 cups milk
1 envelope ranch salad dressing mix
1-1/4 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided
Salt and pepper to taste
6 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled

Steps:

  • Place potatoes in a large saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil; cook for until almost tender, 10-12 minutes. Drain; place in a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish. , Meanwhile, preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, combine the soup, milk, salad dressing mix, 1 cup cheese, salt and pepper; pour over potatoes. After making way too much homemade chili, I came up with this recipe to use up the leftovers. I haven't seen this one anywhere else, but it is delicious, easy, cheap, and filling.

2 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced 1/8 ",thick
3 cups of your favorite chili
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, cubed
1 can cream of mushroom soup
3 cups sharp cheddar cheese
salt and pepper

Steps:

  • Layer sliced potatoes, chili, cubed cream cheese, cream of mushroom soup, and cheddar cheese in a greased casserole dish.
  • Repeat layers (like lasagna).
  • Bake covered in a 350 degree oven for 1 1/2 hours.
  • Top with additional cheddar cheese and bake uncovered for 10 minutes.
  • Allow casserole to set for 20 minutes and serve.

2 1/2 lbs southern style hash browns
2 (10 3/4 ounce) cans cream of chicken soup
3/4 cup sour cream
3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 (1 1/8 ounce) envelope ranch dressing mix
2 tablespoons dried onion
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 cup shredded colby-monterey jack cheese, divided
1/2 cup melted butter, divided
1 cup crushed cracker

Steps:

  • Set aside 1/2 cup of the shredded Colby-jack cheese; stir togther 1/4 cup of the melted butter and the crushed crackers in a small bowl; set this aside also.
  • Combine all remaining ingredients in a large bowl.
  • Turn potatoes into a lightly greased 9x13" baking pan; top with reserved cheese, and buttered crushed crackers.
  • Bake, uncovered, at 375° degrees for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
