Tender, tasty chicken breasts baked with butter, salt, pepper, and oniony seasoning. All ages like these - my 3 year old loves them! This can be served with mashed potatoes or with rice. Very tasty for the whole family.

10 chicken breast tenderloins or strips
¼ cup margarine, melted
salt and pepper to taste
1 (1 ounce) envelope dry onion soup mix

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Place chicken in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Pour melted margarine over the chicken strips. Season with salt and pepper, and sprinkle with dry onion soup mix.
  • Bake 40 minutes in the preheated oven, or until chicken is no longer pink and juices run clear.

1 cup bread crumbs
1 (1 ounce) package dry French onion soup mix
⅓ cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon garlic paste
4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
  • Mix bread crumbs and dry soup mix together in a bowl.
  • Mix mayonnaise and garlic paste together in a separate bowl. Microwave on high to thin out consistency, 20 to 30 seconds.
  • Brush chicken breasts with the mayonnaise mixture. Cover with the crumb mixture. Place on a baking sheet.
  • Bake on the middle rack of the preheated oven until chicken is no longer pink in the center and juices run clear, about 20 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).

1 serving cooking spray
4 frozen whole chicken breasts
1 (8 ounce) package sliced fresh mushrooms
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
8 ounces sour cream
1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly spray the bottom of a 3-quart casserole dish with cooking spray.

seasoning salt to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

2 lbs skinless chicken pieces
1 (1 1/2 ounce) envelope onion soup mix
1 cup soft breadcrumbs, plain
1/4 teaspoon fresh black pepper (optional)

Steps:

  • Combine soup mix, crumbs and pepper in a paper bag.
  • Shake chicken, a few pieces at a time, in mixture to coat well.
  • Butter a large baking pan and place chicken in a single layer, not touching.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove pan, shake pan to loosen chicken. Turn over and return to oven.
  • Continue baking another 30 minutes or until chicken is tender and nicely browned.
