- In a large saucepan, bring 1 cup water to a boil. Stir in cherry gelatin until dissolved. Stir in pie filling. Pour into an 11x7-in. dish. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours or until set., In a small saucepan, bring remaining water to a boil. Stir in lemon gelatin until dissolved. In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese and mayonnaise until smooth. Beat in lemon gelatin and pineapple. Cover and refrigerate for 45 minutes. , Fold in the marshmallows and whipped cream. Spoon over cherry layer; sprinkle with pecans. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours or until set.

This was my grandmother Freda's 'famous' cherry salad. It was a huge hit at family gatherings. My mom mixes the lemon Jello, lemon juice, cream cheese and mayo in the blender. But here's the original recipe. Enjoy!

- Dissolve the strawberry gelatin in 1 cup of boiling water. Stir in the cherry pie filling, then spread the mixture into a 7x11 inch pan, and refrigerate until nearly set, about 45 minutes.
- Dissolve the lemon gelatin in 3/4 cup boiling water; stir in the lemon juice, and set aside. Mash the cream cheese in a separate bowl until soft, then stir in the mayonnaise. Pour the lemon gelatin into the cream cheese mixture and stir until smooth. Next, stir in the undrained pineapple. Finally, fold in the marshmallows and whipped cream. Spread the pineapple mixture over the chilled cherry layer, and sprinkle with chopped walnuts. Chill in the refrigerator until fully set, about 2 hours.

- Put oven on 350 degrees F.
- Grease a 13x9 inch pan.
- Put both cans of cherry pie filling in.
- Top with cake mix.
- Press butter throughout dish.
- Sprinkle with nuts.
- Bake for 1 hour, or until it looks done (haha).
- Serve warm, also is good with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream-- or both.

- Chill until partially set.
- Dissolve lemon jello in 1 c.
- boling water.

- 1. Preheat oven to 425.
- 2. Spread half of pie filling in bottom of pie shell; set aside the rest.
- 3. Bake shell 15 minutes or just until crust is golden; remove from oven. Reduce temperature to 350.
- 4. Meanwhile, in a small bowl with electric mixer, beat cream cheese with sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. Pour over hot filling.
- 5. Bake 25 minutes (Filling will be slightly soft in center). Cool completely on wire rack.

- Peel& core the apples.
- Cut the apples into quarters& then slice them into 1/4" slices& set aside.
- Cook the noodles in the milk, cream, wine& a 1/2 cup of the sugar until very soft (about 20 minutes).
- In a bowl, mix the eggs, egg yolks, sour cream& the remaining 1/4 cup of sugar together.
- After the noodles are slightly cooled& not piping hot, mix the egg mixture into the noodles with the heat off.
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- In another bowl, whisk together the cornstarch, rum, vanilla& apple juice concentrate.
- In a sautè pan, melt the butter over high heat.
- When melted, reduce to medium heat.
- Add the brown sugar& then the apples.
- Arrange the apple slices so that they are not on top of each other& they are flat.
- Sautè for 1 minute& then add the rum& apple juice mixture.
- Cook until somewhat thickened& then stir in the cherries.
- In a 2 1/2 quart buttered (or sprayed with Pam) casserole, alternate the noodle mixture& the fruit mixture in 5 layers (3 noodle& 2 fruit) beginning& ending with noodle layers.
- Bake uncovered until the top begins to get brown, about 35 to 45 minutes.
- Serve topped with sour cream.
