I got this recipe from watching Sandra Lee's television show on food network, Semi-Homemade. I tried it out on a whim and it is fantastic. Its like nachos for tater tots.

Steps:
- Prepare potatoes according to package instructions and sprinkle generously with all purpose seasoning of your choice.
- When potatoes are fully cooked, crumble bacon over the top and top with cheese of your choice. Good ones to try are chipotle cheddar, cheddar jack, or sharp cheddar.
- Return to the oven and bake 5-10 minutes until the cheese has melted.
- Remove from oven, cool for 2-5 minutes and garnish with chives.
- Serve with sour cream or your choice of condiments.

CHEESY BACON TATER TOTS®
These delicious tots are great as a side dish or as a game day appetizer. The potatoes crisp in bacon grease before being baked with Cheddar cheese for an easy bacony, cheesy treat.

- Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
- Cook bacon in a large cast iron skillet over medium-high heat until crispy on both sides, about 10 minutes. Place on a paper towel-lined plate and set aside, keeping the bacon grease in the skillet.
- Reduce the heat to medium and add potato nuggets to the skillet. Season with garlic salt and toss until evenly coated. Cook until the outsides are crisp, about 10 minutes, turning carefully with a spatula once or twice. Remove the skillet from heat.
- Carefully remove 1/2 of the potato nuggets from the skillet and spread out remaining nuggets in a single layer. Top with 1/2 of the Cheddar cheese. Place remaining nuggets on top of the cheese and top with remaining cheese.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake until nuggets are warmed through and the cheese is melted and starts to turn golden brown, about 10 minutes.
- While the nuggets are baking, crumble the cooked bacon. Remove the skillet from the oven and top with crumbled bacon, sour cream, and green onions.

- Place half of the Tater Tots in a greased 5-qt. slow cooker. Layer with Canadian bacon, peppers, onion and pineapple. Top with remaining Tater Tots. In a large bowl, whisk eggs, milk and pizza sauce; pour over top. Sprinkle with provolone cheese., Cook, covered, on low 4-5 hours or until heated through. - Bake the Tater Tots as the label directs. Reduce the oven temperature to 400 degrees F and lightly coat a 9-inch pie plate with cooking spray.
- Cook the bacon in a medium skillet over medium-low heat, turning once, until crisp, about 8 minutes. Remove to a paper towel-lined plate to drain, then roughly chop.
- Lightly press the Tater Tots into the prepared dish. Top with the cheese and bacon. Bake until the cheese melts, about 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, combine the sour cream and mayonnaise with the Sriracha. Drizzle the pie with the spicy mayonnaise and sprinkle with chives.
