In Wynot, Nebraska, Penny Reifenrath uses peanut butter, Cheerios and candies to put a tooth-tingling spin on marshmallow-cereal bars. "Whether I take them to picnics or bake sales, I'm always asked for the recipe," she notes.

Steps:
- Place butter and marshmallows in a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave, uncovered, on high for 1-2 minutes or until melted. Stir in peanut butter until blended. Add the cereal and M&M's. Spoon into a greased 13-in. x 9-in. pan; press down gently. Cool slightly before cutting.

CHEERIO SQUARES
My mom used to make this instead of rice crispy treats. Honestly I like these way more than the rice crispy version. For a twist, use Honey Nut Cheerios. I have set it up so that the Prep time is the the time on the stovetop and cook time is the time to let it set up in the pan. Enjoy!

- Melt the Margarine in a large pot. Add the Marshmallows and stir until melted.
- Now, add the Cheerios a little at a time and stir them in so that the cheerios are completely coated. Keep adding Cheerios until no more will be coated.
- Pour the mixture into a 9x13 pan and allow to cool. Slice it up and eat.

- In a large saucepan, cook and stir sugar and corn syrup until the sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat. Add peanut butter; mix well. Stir in cereals and candy. Spread quickly into 2 lightly buttered 15x10x1-inch pans with buttered hands. Cut into bars while warm.
