Steps:
- In a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish, arrange potatoes in a single layer. Pour milk over potatoes. Dot with butter; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cover and bake at 425° for 30 minutes or until the potatoes are tender. Sprinkle with cheese and parsley. Bake, uncovered, 5 minutes longer or until cheese is melted.

- Scrub potatoes and cut into 1/2-inch strips. Arrange in a greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Pour half and half over potatoes Dot with butter. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cover and bake at 325°F for 1 hour or until potatoes are tender. Sprinkle with cheese and bake for another 5 minutes until cheese is melted.
