CARAMEL MACCHIATO MARTINI

Caramel Macchiato Martini image

Yummy! If you like Starbuck's Caramel Macchiato you will like this martini. I used Starbucks' coffee liqueur in this drink. Great after dinner drink instead of dessert.

SALTED CARAMEL ESPRESSO MARTINI

Salted Caramel Espresso Martini image

Salted caramel espresso martinis are a perfectly rich, sweet, and creamy vodka cocktail recipe. Like a combination of a Starbucks Caramel Macchiato and a Kahlua White Russian.

Time 5m

Number Of Ingredients 9

2 oz Kahlua coffee liqueur
2 oz vodka
2 oz espresso
2 oz heavy whipping cream
1 TBSP Torani caramel syrup (Keto option - use sugar-free Torani syrup)
pinch sea salt flakes
ICE
caramel sauce (Keto option - use sugar-free caramel )
sea salt flakes

Steps:

  • To a martini shaker, fill about 1/2 way with ice cubes.
  • Pour in the Kahlua, vodka, cream, caramel syrup, and espresso. Add a pinch of sea salt.
  • Put the lid on the martini shaker and make sure it is on tight. Shake for about 15 seconds to combine together and help chill all the ingredients.
  • To prepare the 2 martini glasses, drizzle or dip the rim into caramel syrup. Sprinkle sea salt flakes on the caramel to stick for the perfect sea sat caramel edge.
  • Remove the small top strainer lid from the martini shaker. Using the strainer top, pour half of the mixture into each martini glass.
  • Cheers - enjoy!

CLASSIC CARAMEL MACCHIATO

Classic Caramel Macchiato image

A macchiato is my favorite coffee drink. Most of the time I get it with no flavoring. But this drink is sort of a special occasion thing. What they serve at Starbucks is not really a macchiato at all, but a latte. So if you really want to try a macchiato (never had one before) and find out what it's all about, this is a good choice for you. Of course, if you don't want the flavorings, just prepare it with a shot or two, and a little foam on top. That's a macchiato. Hope you enjoy!

Time 10m

Yield 1 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 5

3 ounces prepared espresso
1 ounce caramel syrup (use syrups prepared for coffees, not ice cream; I like Da Vinci brand)
1 tablespoon foamed milk
whipped cream (optional)
caramel topping (optional)

Steps:

  • Place caramel syrup in the bottom of cup.
  • Top with freshly prepared hot espresso.
  • Spoon very small amount of foamed milk on top of espresso.
  • Avoid getting any milk into espresso if you like it dry.
  • You can add just a wee bit of milk otherwise, but not a lot (or it won't be a macchiato anymore!).
  • If desired, you can top this with whipped cream, and a little bit of warmed caramel topping (squirted from a squeeze bottle is best).
  • Serve at once.
