2 lb. red potatoes, unpeeled, sliced 1/4-inch thick
1/3 cup water
3/4 cup KRAFT Real Mayo Mayonnaise
1/2 cup each chopped onions and sliced celery
1 Tbsp. HEINZ Yellow Mustard
1/2 tsp. celery seed

Steps:

  • Microwave potatoes and water in 2-qt. covered microwavable dish on HIGH 14 to 16 min. or until tender, stirring after 7 min. Drain.
  • Mix mayonnaise, onion, celery, mustard and celery seed in large bowl. Add potatoes; mix lightly.
  • Refrigerate several hours or until chilled.

1 (15 ounce) can garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
1 tomato, cut into small dice
¼ red onion, minced
1 canned heart of palm, minced
⅓ cup grated reduced-fat mozzarella cheese
4 sprigs fresh thyme leaves
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Toss the garbanzo beans, tomato, onion, heart of palm, mozzarella cheese, thyme, olive oil, and lemon juice together in a bowl until evenly mixed. Season with salt and pepper and retoss.

4 cups torn lettuce
1/4 cup julienned fully cooked ham
1/4 cup julienned salami
2 hard-boiled large eggs, sliced
DRESSING:
1/4 cup mayonnaise
4 teaspoons ketchup
2 teaspoons chopped green onion
2 teaspoons sweet pickle relish
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • On a serving plate or two individual serving plates, arrange the lettuce, ham, salami and eggs. In a small bowl, combine dressing ingredients. Serve with salad.

Where did I get this? My grandma! :) Nice jello/fruit type salad!! I suppose you could change the flavors of jello and change the fruit... I've always made it this way because , well ... if I didn't ... it wouldn't taste like Grandma's :) Cooking time is fridge time.

2 cups boiling water
1 pint Orange sherbet (2 cups)
1/2 cup mandarin orange, drained

  • Dissolve jello in boiling water.
  • Add sherbert, stirring until melted.
  • Add drained oranges.
  • Pour into an 8x8 square pan.
  • Sets up in 30 minutes!
