This recipie was given to me by my great aunt, she made it when she visited us and it was very yummy, and filling. A very good one-pot meal.

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 lb lean ground beef
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 (16 ounce) can pork and beans or 1 (16 ounce) can baked beans
3/4 cup barbecue sauce, any brand
2 tablespoons brown sugar (or brown sugar & splenda)
1 (10 ounce) can refrigerated biscuits
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Brown beef in oil.
  • Drain excess grease.
  • Add salt, pork and beans (or baked beans), barbeque sauce, and brown sugar (or brown sugar/splenda blend).
  • Heat until bubbly, stirring occasionally. Spoon mixture into a large greased casserole dish.
  • Cut biscuits into halves and arrange in casserole dish.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top of casserole.
  • Bake in a preheated oven for 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 25 to 30 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.

2 lb ground beef
1 large can baked beans (any flavor)
1 bottle Kraft Honey BBQ Sauce
1-2 tub es biscuit home-style biscuit dough
2 cups Kraft Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to the temperature required for the biscuits. Brown ground beef, drain.
  • Mix prepared ground beef in a large baking dish with the baked beans, and as much BBQ sauce as you like. Top mixture with the biscuits. Top the biscuits with the Kraft Shredded Cheddar Cheese.
  • Bake mixture until the biscuits are done and the cheese is a golden brown. Enjoy!!!

Pillsbury® refrigerated original breadsticks provide a simple addition to a delicious casserole that's made using Progresso® red kidney beans, baked beans, ground beef and bacon - perfect dinner ready in 45 minutes!

6 slices bacon
1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
1 cup chopped onions (2 medium)
1 can (16 oz) baked beans with bacon and brown sugar, undrained
1 can (15 oz) Progresso® red kidney beans, drained, 1/4 cup liquid reserved
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup ketchup
3 tablespoons white vinegar
1 can (11 oz) Pillsbury® refrigerated original breadsticks (12 breadsticks)
1 tablespoon milk
2 teaspoons sesame seed

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 400°F. In 12-inch nonstick skillet, cook bacon over medium heat, turning once, until crisp. Drain on paper towels; crumble bacon. Drain drippings from skillet.
  • In skillet, cook beef and onions over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly cooked; drain. Stir in bacon, baked beans, kidney beans with reserved 1/4 cup liquid, brown sugar, ketchup and vinegar. Reduce heat to medium-low; cook until bubbly, stirring occasionally. Pour into ungreased 11x7-inch (2-quart) glass baking dish.
  • Unroll dough; separate into 12 strips. Arrange strips in lattice design over bean mixture, overlapping as necessary to fit. Brush dough with milk; sprinkle with sesame seed.
  • Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until breadsticks are golden brown and filling is bubbly.
