Here's what you need: russet potatoes, olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic, italian seasoning, freshly grated parmesan cheese, top sirloin steaks, fresh parsley, garlic butter

2 russet potatoes, cut into 8 wedges
2 tablespoons olive oil
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon italian seasoning
½ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
4 top sirloin steaks, 1-inch (2 cm) think, patted dry
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
4 tablespoons garlic butter, to serve

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375˚F (190˚F).
  • Place potatoes in a single layer onto one of a greased baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt, pepper, garlic, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan, gently tossing to combine.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp, tossing occasionally.
  • Preheat oven to broil.
  • Season steaks with salt and pepper, to taste, and place onto the opposite side of the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
  • Place into oven and broil until the steak is browned and charred at the edges, about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.
  • Serve immediately with garlic butter, and top with parsley. Enjoy!

4 (1-inch-thick) top sirloin steak, patted dry
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
2 russet potatoes, cut into 8 long wedges
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoons Italian seasoning
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons chopped parsley leaves

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Lightly oil a baking sheet or coat with nonstick spray. Place potatoes in a single layer onto one side of the prepared baking sheet. Add olive oil, garlic, Italian seasoning and Parmesan; season with salt and pepper, to taste. Gently toss to combine. Place into oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp, tossing occasionally. Preheat oven to broil. 2 steaks
kosher salt
fresh coarse ground black pepper
olive oil

Steps:

  • ADDITIONAL ITEMS - Cast Iron Skillet, Spatula or Tongs.
  • Bring your 1 to 2 inch steaks to room temperature and use a clean cloth to remove excess moisture.
  • Move oven rack 6 inches from heating element.
  • Pre-heat oven and skillet by setting the oven to broiler for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Rub steaks with olive oil, kosher salt and coarsely ground pepper. NOTE: Use any seasonings of your choice.
  • Once the skillet is pre-heated, pull out the oven rack and carefully lay steaks on the skillet. NOTE: Pan is Extermely Hot and will spit and splatter.
  • Close oven and sear the steaks for 3 minutes on one side, turn and sear the opposite side for 3 minutes. DO NOT USE A FORK TO TURN STEAKS!
  • Once seared, set the oven to 500F and cook using this Time Chart. Turn steaks half way through the remaining cooking time.
  • Rare (120-130F)1" 0-1 minute, 1 1/4" 2-3 minute, 1 3/4" 4-5 minute
  • Medium (140-150F) 1" 2-3 minute, 1 1/4" 4-5 minute, 1 3/4" 6-7 minute
  • Medium Well(150-160F) 1" 4-5 minute, 1 1/4" 6-7 minute, 1 3/4" 8-9 minute
  • Remove steaks from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes.
  • Serving on warm plates is recommended to maintain meat temperature.
  • I can not stress this tip enough -- Keep the fork in the drawer until ready to eat. Never pierce the meat during cooking.

2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon grill seasoning
4 medium russet potatoes, scrubbed and cut into eighths
2 sheets aluminum foil
cooking spray

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 500 degrees F (260 degrees C).
  • Mix olive oil and grill seasoning together in a large bowl. Add potato wedges and toss to coat.
  • Line 2 baking sheets with aluminum foil. Crumple up foil slightly and grease with cooking spray. Arrange potato wedges on the foil so that they are not touching and have enough room to cook.
  • Bake in the preheated oven, turning once, until brown and crispy, about 25 minutes.

A seasoned potato similar to french fries. I use a sugar water mixture to soak the potatoes first becuase I've heard that this is a trick to great french fried potatoes.

3 medium potatoes
1 cup water (Or enough water to cover potatoes)
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon all-purpose french fry seasoning
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon parsley
1 dash steak seasoning
3 tablespoons safflower oil

Steps:

  • Scrub and wash potatoes.
  • Cut into steak fry size portions.
  • Combine sugar and water.
  • Place potatoes in bowl and cover in sugar water mixture.
  • Let sit for 30 minutes.
  • Drain and pat dry.
  • Add potatoes, seasoning and oil into large ziplock bag or plastic bag.
  • Shake vigorously.
  • Pour back in sugar water bowl.
  • Microwave mixture on baked potato setting or 7 minutes on high.
  • Pour onto cookie sheet in one layer.
  • bake at 450 for 20 minutes or until browned or on broil setting in toaster oven. This is how I like them.
