BLT-AND-MORE SALAD

- In a small bowl, combine the tomatoes, avocado and bacon. In another small bowl, whisk the sour cream, mayonnaise, milk, garlic, dill, salt and pepper; pour over salad. Gently toss to coat. Sprinkle with cheese and pine nuts. Serve immediately in lettuce leaves.

BLT MACARONI SALAD
In this easy and tasty BLT Macaroni Salad bacon, lettuce and tomato are mixed with a creamy delicious dressing. This small batch recipe is a great side dish and serves two or three people. You can use any pasta shape you prefer and I chose this gorgeous cavatappi pasta.

Steps:
- Cook the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and cool completely. Click for Cavatappi pasta.
- While the pasta is cooking, cut the bacon into 1 inch pieces and fry until crisp.
- Dice the tomato and roughly chop or tear the lettuce.
- In a small bowl mix together the mayo, sour cream, vinegar, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
- Toss the vegetables, bacon and dressing with macaroni until combined.
- Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

This recipe is reminiscent of the classic BLT or bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwich. It's a great summertime salad!

- Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat, turning frequently, until evenly browned. Drain, crumble and set aside.
- In a blender or food processor, combine mayonnaise, milk, garlic powder and black pepper. Blend until smooth. Season the dressing with salt.
- Combine lettuce, tomatoes, bacon and croutons in a large salad bowl. Toss with dressing, and serve immediately.
