Steps:
- Preheat waffle iron. There's no need to oil the iron since there's plenty of oil in the batter.
- Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl only just before using the batter. Whisk or mix with a fork until most of the lumps are gone. Be gentle so you don't mix out all the carbonation.
- Add approximately 1/4 of this batter (1 cup) to the iron, or adjust as needed for your waffle iron. Cook according to your iron instructions, or until the light goes off. Check for desired level of browning. Serve immediately.

INCREDIBLE WAFFLES
Originated from a Junior League cookbook, but now slightly modified. The soda water makes the waffles incredibly light and airy, crispy on the outside. Best made with Belgium waffle iron. Serve with butter, maple syrup and a sprinkle of powdered sugar.

FLUFFY BELGIAN WAFFLES RECIPE
This is the waffle recipe I always use. It is a favorite in our house. You can either use the store bought Bisquick® or make up a batch of your own. There are a lot of great recipes for that here on Zaar!! Note: the original recipe states this makes 12 waffles. When I made mine I only got 6 waffles out of the batter.
