SOURDOUGH BEER BREAD (BREAD MACHINE)
I found this online recently, but don't remember where, so the credit for this simple, lovely textured, and delicious bread goes to someone else. It was my husbands first attempt at breadmaking (of any kind) and it turned out so fabulous! It's a simple basic bread that smells and tastes delightful. We served it with a homemade Garlic butter spread. My husband set the opened beer out the night before to go flat.Time is approximate.

WHOLE WHEAT BEER & HONEY BREAD MACHINE ROLLS
Another of my make do bread recipes, when DH had a few beers left over ( doesn't happen often.) This bread can be made into loafs or rolls, but we find rolls to be our family favorite. A heavy lager might be more robust, hey give it a try, dh only drinks bud and coors, so we haven't had a chance to try the heavier beers, let us know what ya'all think. LOL so.. salute.

Steps:
- Mix honey, salt, water, oil and beer in small mixing bowl , heat in microwave 1 minute, stir until well blended.
- Place honey mix with remaining ingredients into bread machine according to manufacturers directions.
- Select dough cycle.
- When cycle is complete, shape dough into rolls.
- Place in lightly greased pans. ( I like to use pie pans instead of a baking sheet so rolls are wedged next to each other).
- Cover rolls with a damp cloth and let rise about 30-40 minute or until doubled in size. When using whole wheat flour I like to set pans on an electric heating pad set on medium. (That makes the whole wheat flour rise faster,If you don't use the heating pad, not to worry, you might need more rise time.).
- When rolls have doubled, bake in a preheated 350 degree oven 15-20 min , brush tops with melted butter.

BEER PIZZA DOUGH (FOR BLACK AND DECKER BREAD MACHINE)
Take a look under the lid once it starts to knead the dough, humidity can alter the doughs texture, it should be slightly sticky but soft and elastic, if it is too sticky then add in a little flour on top of the dough and watch to see if the dough is the correct texture, if the dough is too dry then add in 1 teaspoon water at a time until it is right, if possible leave the unopened bottle or can of beer in a warm sunny spot before using :)

BREAD MACHINE PIZZA DOUGH WITH BEER RECIPE - (4.1/5)
Provided by GratefulSea

Steps:
- Flatten the beer by letting it stand for 4-6 hours, or by pouring it back and forth between containers until all the bubbles are gone. Put all ingredients into the bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer (the order given here is for the Zojirushi machine). Select the "Dough" cycle. When the cycle is completed (about 90 minutes for the Zojirushi), preheat the oven to 400 degrees, turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface, and choose a shaping method (below): • for thick-crust pizza: with lightly floured hands, press the dough into a greased 12-inch pizza pan, forming a high edge. Brush the crust with oil, cover the dough with a clean towel, and let stand for 15 minutes. Spoon tomato or pizza sauce over the dough, top with desired toppings, and bake for 25-35 minutes, or until filling is bubbly and crust is golden. • for thin-crust pizza: with lightly floured hands, shape the dough into a ball, then divide it in half. Press each half into a greased 12-inch pizza pan, forming a 1-inch edge. Brush the crust with oil, cover with a clean towel, and let stand for 15 minutes. Spoon tomato or pizza sauce over the dough, top with desired toppings, and bake for 20-30 minutes, or until filling is bubbly and crust is golden. VARIATIONS For CRUSTY ROLLS: on a lightly floured surface, shape dough into a ball; divide into quarters; cut each quarter into 4 pieces. Shape each piece into a flattened oval. Place the rolls 3-inches apart on a greased baking sheet. Slash tops of rolls with a sharp knife. Brush lightly with oil if desired, then cover with a clean cloth and let rest for 15 minutes. Bake 20-24 minutes. For SOFT PRETZELS: On a lightly floured surface, shape dough into a ball; divide into quarters. Cut each quarter into 3 pieces. Roll each piece between palms of hands to make 10-inch ropes. Bring the ends of a rope together to make a circle; twist the bottom 3 inches of each end together; fold back across opposite side of circle. Tuck dough ends under circle. Brush the pretzels with an egg glaze (1 beaten egg with 1 Tablespoon of water), and sprinkle with coarse salt. For softer pretzels, let the dough rest for 15 minutes. Bake 18 to 25 minutes. Makes 12 pretzels.

BEER BREAD (BREAD MACHINE)
I am submitting this recipe by request. I have not tried it, as we have never had alcoholic beverages around, but I understand it makes a terrific loaf of bread! I got this recipe from "The Bread Lover's Cookbook" by: Elizabeth Hensberger. I am sure it is a good one. Elizabeth Hensberger is a Master Breadmaker. Enjoy!
