This is so easy and one of my dh favorites. I know the mayo may sound a little weird but it holds the meat together well. Serve this with yellow rice and enjoy the chicken gravy. This dish is very elegant is presentation.

1 lb ground beef
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon mayonnaise
1 cup shredded cheese
1 (8 ounce) can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425°F.
  • Brown beef and season with a dash of garlic powder, salt and pepper.
  • Drain grease.
  • Stir in mayonnaise.
  • Combine cream of chicken soup and milk and heat until smooth.
  • Separate each roll and spoon 1 tsp of meat mix onto wide end of roll and sprinkle with cheese.
  • Roll up.
  • Spray Pyrex dish with Pam.
  • Spread enough of soup mix to cover bottom of dish.
  • Place crescent rolls in dish.
  • Pour approximately 2/3 of soup mix over crescent rolls.
  • Sprinkle rolls with remaining meat mix and cheese.
  • Pour remaining soup mix over rolls.

Easy hamburger pie with a twist. The cheese coated flaky crust is light.

1 1/4 lb ground beef
1/3 c onion
1/4 c green pepper, chopped
8 oz green beans, drained
1/2 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp garlic salt
1/4-1/2 tsp salt
8 oz refrigerated crescent rolls
1 large egg
8 oz cheddar cheese, shredded or monterey jack
8 oz tomato sauce

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • 2. In large fry pan brown ground beef, onion and green pepper. Drain.
  • 3. Put ground beef mixture back in pan and stir in tomato sauce, green beans, cumin, garlic salt and salt. Simmer while preparing crust.
  • 4. Separate rolls into 8 triangles. Place in 9 inch pie dish. Press over bottom and sides to form a crust.
  • 5. Combine 1 egg with 1 cup of cheese and spread over crust. ( Sides and bottom).
  • 6. Spoon hot meat mixture into crust. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and paprika.
  • 7. Bake for 20-25 minutes. For easier serving let stand for 5 minutes.

1 (8 oz.) can Pillsbury refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
1/2 cup bacon horseradish-flavored dip
6 oz. thinly sliced cooked roast beef (from deli)
2 tablespoons chopped roasted red bell pepper strips (from a jar)
4 oz. (1 cup) shredded Swiss or Provolone cheese

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375 degrees. Separate dough into 4 rectangles. Firmly press perforations to seal. Spread about 1 tablespoon of the dip evenly over each rectangle to within 1/4" of edges. Top evenly with beef, roasted peppers and cheese. Trim beef if necessary. Starting with long side, roll up each rectangle; pinch edges to seal. Place rolls on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 14 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 3 minutes; remove from cookie sheet. Cut each roll into 6 slices. Serve warm with remaining 1/4 cup dip.

2 packages crescent rolls
1 pounds ground beef
0.5 units onion
0.75 cups bbq sauce
8 units american singles

Steps:

  • On an ungreased cookie sheet flatten crescent rolls and firmly press seams together to fit the size of standard cookie sheet.
  • Next in skillet brown beef, adding onions just before done. Drain meat and onion mix, and add BBQ sauce to meat and onions. Pour in middle of crescent rolls length wide. Open Kraft Cheese Singles and lay on top of BBQ meat mixture. Fold crescent rolls to cover meat mixture and pinch closed on the ends.
  • Bake in 425 preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove and let set 10 minutes before cutting to serve.
