1 lb imitation crabmeat, chopped
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup thinly sliced green onion
1/4 cup diced celery
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
salt and pepper
1 loaf unsliced French bread, halved lengthwise (1 lb.)

Steps:

  • Add the crabmeat, mayonnaise, green onions, and celery to a large mixing bowl; stir to combine.
  • Add the cheese, and salt/pepper to taste; stir to combine.
  • Spread the crab mixture over the bottom of the bread; replace top of bread.
  • Wrap sandwich in a big piece of heavy foil.
  • Bake at 400° for 20 minutes or until heated.
  • Cut into slices and serve.

1 cup soft breadcrumbs
1 cup light cream
1 1/2 cups mayonnaise
6 hard boiled eggs, chopped
1 teaspoon parsley
1 teaspoon minced dried onion
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup blanched sliced almonds
1/2 cup buttered breadcrumbs

Steps:

  • Mix together all ingredients except bread crumbs.
  • Pour into baking dish.
  • Top with buttered bread crumbs.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 cup finely chopped celery
One 6-ounce can crabmeat, picked free of any broken shells
One 4-ounce can medium shrimp
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 cup buttered cracker crumbs or breadcrumbs

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the bell pepper, onion, and celery. Add the crabmeat and shrimp, then the mayonnaise and seasonings. Spoon the mixture into a buttered casserole, cover with buttered crumbs, and bake at 350 degrees until golden brown, about 30 minutes.
