BACON-WRAPPED TATER TOTS®
This recipe found me about a year ago and I have absolutely loved it ever since! Given its ingredients I was surprised to find it seems to be a hit no matter where it's served.

Steps:
- Preheat an oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Lay each slice of bacon onto a work surface and place a potato nugget in the center of each bacon slice. Cut a slit down the center of each potato nugget and place a Cheddar cheese piece into the slit. Top each nugget with a dash of hot sauce. Wrap bacon around each filled potato nugget and secure the bacon to the nugget with a toothpick. Transfer the wrapped nuggets to the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven until nuggets are cooked through and bacon is crispy, 15 to 20 minutes.

- Preheat oven to 400°. Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until partially cooked but not crisp. Remove to paper towels to drain; keep warm., Combine syrup and pepper flakes. This has been a huge hit for anyone that eats these! Easy bar food style recipe that everyone will love. Bacon and jalapeno slice wrapped around tator tot and deep fried, topped with cheddar cheese and great dipped in ranch! Perfect party food or snack!

Steps:
- Slightly defrost tator tots to allow toothpick to go through.
- Hold jalapeno slice around tator tot then wrap 1/2 slice of bacon around and secure together with toothpick.
- Make as many as you can then deep fat fry them at 375 degrees for about 3-4 minutes or untill brown and crispy looking. ( I think it cooks a little better after they have been frozen together and it's great to keep some frozen for on the spot snack needing)
- Immediately sprinkle with cheddar cheese (You can microwave a little so the cheese gets melted more) and provide a side of ranch for dipping.

- Line a baking sheet with foil Put a baking rake on top of foil/baking sheet Mix brown sugar and chili powder together until well blended Cut each bacon slice into 4 evenly pieces. Wrap bacon around each tater tot. (May need to use a tooth pick to hold bacon on) Roll bacon wrapped tater in the brown sugar/chili mixture and place on baking rake Bake at 375 degrees F for 15 minutes, then raise to 400 degrees F for an additional 5 - 10 minutes or until crispy.

- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Arrange the tater tots in a single layer on a large baking sheet. Bake for about 10 minutes, so that they are no longer frozen but not completely cooked. Remove from the oven and allow to cool.
- Place bacon slices in a skillet over medium heat. Fry bacon until cooked through but still flexible. Drain on paper towels.
- Break each slice of cheese into small pieces. Each slice should make about 16 pieces. Place a piece of cheese against the side of a tater tot. Wrap with a piece of the bacon and secure with a toothpick. Place on a baking sheet. Repeat until you run out of tots.
- Bake for about 30 minutes in the preheated oven, until the bacon is crisp.
