My sons love both bacon and stuffing. Combining the two should be great

Number Of Ingredients 7

16 slice(s) thickly cut bacon
3/4 cup(s) leftover stuffing
1/2 tablespoon(s) brown sugar
1/8 teaspoon(s) paprika
1/8 teaspoon(s) oregano
- chopped pecans or walnuts, optional
- dried cranberries, optional

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350º F.
  • If using pecans, walnuts, or cranberries, fold them into leftover stuffing until totally incorporated.
  • Take 1 tablespoon stuffing and roll it into a ball or log.
  • Lay bacon out on a clean surface and place stuffing log on one end. Carefully roll stuffing up in bacon and use a toothpick to secure.
  • Repeat with remaining stuffing bites, then transfer them to a baking sheet and set on top of a lined baking tray.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together brown sugar, paprika and oregano until combined.
  • Gently press sugar mixture onto the bacon bites, then place baking sheet in oven
  • Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until bacon is crispy.
  • Remove from oven and serve hot.

Yield 12 Balls

Number Of Ingredients 2

3 cups homemade stuffing or 1 box stuffing mix
6 slices Bacon, cut in half

Steps:

  • 1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. 2. If using homemade stuffing proceed to step 3. If using boxed stuffing, cook according to package directions.Remove from stove and let cool for 5 minutes. 3. Use a cookie scoop to create stuffing balls or roll 2 Tablespoons of stuffing mixl into 2-inch balls. 4. Wrap with 1/2 slice bacon and secure with a toothpick 5. Place stuffing balls on baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-18 minutes or until bacon is crisp and top of stuffing is lightly browned.
