12 ounces Smithfield® Hometown Original Bacon, cooked and cut into 1-inch pieces
8 square waffle (4" square) (include frozen)s waffles, freshly made or frozen packaged, quartered
2 tablespoons butter, divided
6 large egg yolks egg yolks
1 ½ cups buttermilk
1 cup whipping cream
⅔ cup maple syrup, divided
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon salt
1 ½ cups mixed fresh berries, such as blueberries, strawberries and blackberries
1 teaspoon Powdered sugar

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease 3-quart oven-safe casserole (8 x 10-inch or similar) with 1/2 tablespoon butter. In large bowl, whisk together egg yolks, buttermilk, cream, 1/3 cup syrup, vanilla and salt; reserve.
  • On ungreased rimmed baking pan, spread waffle pieces in even layer and bake for 12-15 minutes or until crisp and lightly toasted. Increase oven temperature to 375 degrees F.
  • Add waffle pieces and bacon to buttermilk mixture and toss to coat evenly. Pour into prepared casserole and tightly cover with foil.
  • Bake for 45-50 minutes and remove foil. Melt remaining butter and brush over top of casserole and bake, uncovered, for another 10-15 minutes or until top is crisp and toasted. Top with fresh berries and remaining maple syrup, dusting with powdered sugar if desired, and serve warm.

6 waffles, broken into 1-inch pieces (about 8 cups total)
6 egg yolks
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups milk
1 cup whipping cream
1/2 cup real maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla
8 to 10 slices bacon (12 oz), crisply cooked, chopped into 1-inch pieces
1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease 10x6-inch (1 1/2-quart) glass baking dish with shortening or cooking spray.
  • Spread waffle pieces in even layer on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 15 minutes or until crisp.
  • Increase oven temperature to 375°F. In large bowl, beat egg yolks, salt, milk, whipping cream, maple syrup and vanilla with whisk until well combined. Carefully stir in waffle pieces and bacon until evenly coated. Let stand at room temperature 30 minutes to 1 hour, stirring every 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Pour mixture into baking dish; press down with back of spoon. Cover tightly with foil.
  • Bake 50 to 60 minutes, removing foil during last 10 minutes of baking, until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Brush top with melted butter. Cut into squares; serve warm.

8 frozen waffles, toasted
8 slices OSCAR MAYER Bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces, cooked
1 cup KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese, divided
6 eggs
1-1/4 cups milk
1/4 cup maple-flavored or pancake syrup

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 325ºF.
  • Place 4 waffles in 8-inch square baking dish sprayed with cooking spray; top with bacon, 1/2 cup cheese and remaining waffles.
  • Whisk eggs, milk and syrup until blended; pour over waffles. Refrigerate 30 min.
  • Bake 40 min. or until center is set and top is puffed and golden brown. Top with remaining cheese; bake 5 min. or until cheese is melted.
