I got the recipe from a friend of a friend-so not sure where it orginated. They are time consuming to make, and you have to plan ahead but I promise you they are well worth it!

Steamed and then baked, these scrumptious green beans take on great flavor, because they are wrapped in bacon and bathed in a savory sauce. This recipe is best when you marinate the bundles overnight.

This is such a tasty side dish!!!! I love it with beef, but have made it with everything. Although it's a little time-consuming at the beginning, they are really very easy to make. You can wrap the beans ahead and keep in the refrigerator until ready to broil.

BACON BUNDLED GREEN BEANS

Bacon Bundled Green Beans image

Green bean bundles are a fun and different holiday side dish. This version is sweet and savory with crisp green beans wrapped in caramelized bacon. Pre-cooking the bacon means it won't shrink as much as bacon traditionally would when baked. These green bean bundles have an amazing flavor. Your guests will be impressed when these are on your holiday table. No need for them to know how easy this side dish is to prepare.

GREEN BEANS W/ BACON BUNDLES

Green Beans w/ Bacon Bundles image

A few years back I discovered a great green bean recipe that we use for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. Something a little different from the usual (and a little scary)... green - bean - casserole.
