SOUTHERN PEACH COBBLER
Our peach cobbler can easily be made with either fresh or frozen peaches. Great dessert for most any meal and a real old Southern favorite.

Steps:
- Place peaches in a large mixing bowl.
- Add ½ cup of the sugar.
- Add extract.
- Add lemon juice.
- Toss gently to coat peaches. Set aside.
- Place flour in a separate small bowl.
- Add baking powder.
- Add the other ½ cup sugar.
- Add dash of salt.
- Stir dry ingredients together.
- Gradually stir in the milk until batter is smooth.
- Pour melted butter into baking dish (3qt)
- Pour flour mixture on top of butter. Do not stir.
- Pour peaches over top of flour mixture. Do not stir.
- Bake at 350F degrees for 50-60 minutes until golden brown on top.
- Enjoy!
PEACH COBBLER
This old fashioned Peach Cobbler recipe is not only extremely easy to make from scratch, but it's made with fresh or canned peaches so you can enjoy it all year round!

- Add the sliced peaches, sugar and salt to a saucepan and stir to combine. *(If using canned peaches, skip steps 1 & 2 and follow the directions starting at step 3)
- Cook on medium heat for just a few minutes, until the sugar is dissolved and helps to bring out juices from the peaches. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Slice butter into pieces and add to a 9x13 inch baking dish. Place the pan in the oven while it preheats, to allow the butter to melt. Once melted, remove the pan from the oven.
- In a large bowl mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in the milk, just until combined. Pour the mixture into the pan, over the melted butter and smooth it into an even layer.
- Spoon the peaches and juice (or canned peaches, if using) over the batter. Sprinkle cinnamon generously over the top.
- Bake at 350 degrees for about 38-40 minutes. Serve warm, with a scoop of ice cream, if desired.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C.) In a large bowl, combine sliced peaches with juice, 2 tablespoons melted butter, a pinch of cinnamon and a pinch of nutmeg. Dissolve cornstarch in water, then stir into peach mixture; set aside.
- In another bowl, combine milk, sugar, flour, baking powder and salt. Beat until smooth - mixture will be thin.
- Melt 1/2 cup butter in a 9x13 inch pan. Pour batter over melted butter. Spoon peaches over batter. Sprinkle top with additional cinnamon and nutmeg.
- Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour, or until knife inserted comes out clean.

Mouth watering goodness! I cannot make this very often because I have been known to eat more than I should even think of eating! Goes great with ice cream or great by itself!

- 1. Preheat oven to 350-In a large bowl, combine peaches with juice, 2 tbls melted butter, a pinch of cinnamon and nutmeg. Dissolve cornstarch in water-then stir in peach mixture-set aside.
