SAUERKRAUT HOT DISH
We often serve this hearty dish at family gatherings, and the men especially seem to enjoy it. My sister gave me the recipe about 15 years ago. It's been a favorite ever since. The unusual blend of ingredients is a pleasant surprise. -Nedra Parker, Dunbar, Wisconsin

SAUERKRAUT CASSEROLE
Mom brewed her own sauerkraut and, of course, the cabbage was from our big farm garden! Blending the kraut with spicy sausage and apples was Mom's favorite way to fix it, and I still love this country dish. -Rosemary Pryor, Pasadena, Maryland
