- 1. preheat oven to 350 2. place chicken, broth, onion, carrot, celery and fennel seeds in a medium saucepot. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes until chicken is cooked through and vegetables are tender. Strain stock into a small saucepan. 3. Mix in cream, bring to a boil. Stir in thickener; cook 2 minutes until mixture thickens. Pour sauce over chicken and vegetables; stir to coat. Mix in parsley. season to taste with salt and pepper. 4. Spoon chicken mixture into a 9 in dish pie plate. 5. Bake 25-30 minutes makes 6 servings

Steps:
- Mix dry ingredients together, then mix in butter until you have a coarse meal.
- Add water and continue mixing until dough comes together.
- Wrap in plastic and freeze for 15 minutes.
- Roll dough in between two sheets of wax paper (to avoid adding extra flour).
- Press into 9 inch pie plate.
- Freeze for another 15 minutes.
- Use in your recipe, or for a prebaked crust, prick the botom with a fork.
- Cover the crust with foil and pile dried beans on top, to keep the foil right on the crust.
- Bake at 400 for 16 minutes.
- Remove the beans, re-cover with the foil (loosely this time) and bake another 5 minutes.
