2 ounces uncooked bean thread noodles
2 medium carrots, cut into 1/4-inch diagonal slices
1 cup coarsely chopped bok choy
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon minced fresh gingerroot
3-1/2 cups reduced-sodium chicken broth
1 cup water
1 tablespoon reduced-sodium soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper
3/4 cup cubed cooked pork tenderloin
3 green onions, thinly sliced diagonally

Steps:

  • Soak noodles according to package directions., Meanwhile, in a large saucepan, saute carrots and bok choy in oil until tender. Add ginger; cook 1 minute longer. Stir in the broth, water, soy sauce, pepper and noodles. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer until noodles are tender. Stir in pork and green onions; heat through.

1 pound boneless pork ribeye chops, chopped
1 medium onion, halved and sliced
1 can (8-3/4 ounces) whole baby corn, drained, optional
1 small sweet red pepper, sliced
1 small green pepper, sliced
1-3/4 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup honey
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 teaspoons Sriracha chili sauce
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
8 ounces thick rice noodles or linguine
1 cup fresh snow peas
Thinly sliced fresh basil

Steps:

  • Place pork, onion, corn, if desired, peppers and mushrooms in a 6- or 7-qt. slow cooker. Whisk broth, soy sauce, honey, garlic, Sriracha chili sauce and ginger until blended; pour over top. 2 ounces uncooked noodles (fine egg noodles, vermicelli or spagettini works the best)
2 cups cabbage, thinly sliced (Chinese cabbage, savoy or just plain, whatever)
1 1/2 cups cooked pork, cubed
1/4 cup chopped green onion
2 (429 ml) cans low sodium chicken broth (I use my own, and about 1 L)
1 cup white mushroom, thinly sliced
1 teaspoon fresh gingerroot, finely chopped
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
1/2 cup chopped green onion (for garnish, just the green part) (optional)

Steps:

  • Cook noodles according to package directions, or until of desired consistency, drain.
  • Meanwhile, in a large pot combine all remaining ingredients. Stir in the cooked noodles.
  • Bring to a full boil over high heat, stirring occasionally.

2 garlic cloves, minced
2 teaspoons finely chopped gingerroot
2 (14 1/2 ounce) cans chicken broth
2 cups water
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 cups uncooked fine egg noodles
1 medium carrot, sliced
1 small red bell pepper, chopped
2 cups fresh spinach leaves

Steps:

  • Spray 3-quart saucepan with cooking spray; heat over medium-high heat. Add pork, garlic and gingerroot; stir-fry 3 to 5 minutes or until pork is brown.

3 pounds trimmed pork shoulder
1 teaspoon Chinese five-spice powder
1 teaspoon kosher salt
3 cups chicken broth
1 cup dark soy sauce
1/4 cup packed dark brown sugar
2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
4 scallions, cut into 2-inch pieces
1 garlic head, halved
1 (2-inch) knob unpeeled fresh ginger, thinly sliced
8 dried shiitake mushrooms, optional
Hot cooked Chinese egg noodles, for serving

Steps:

  • Rub the pork all over with the five-spice powder and salt. Add the chicken broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and red pepper to the slow cooker. Stir to dissolve the sugar. Add the scallions, garlic, ginger, the mushrooms, if using, and the meat, turning it a few times to coat. Cover the cooker, set it on HIGH, and cook for 4 hours. 32 oz chicken broth
2 c water
1/2 c hoisin sauce
2 Tbsp each fresh ginger grated, soy sauce, honey and rice vinegar
3 clove garlic minced
1 lb pork tenderloin
2 bunch baby bok choy sliced
1 c shiitake mushrooms sliced
8 oz rice noodles
fresh cilantro leaves for garnish

Steps:

  • 1. place the chicken broth, water, hoisin sauce, ginger, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, and garlic in a crock pot. Mix well. Add the pork tenderloin and cook on low for 6 hours
  • 2. Remove the pork from the broth and set aside. Add the mushrooms, bok choy and rice noodles. Make sure the noodles are completely submerged in the broth. Cook another 30 minutes. Shred the pork and add it back to the crock pot and cook another 10 minutes. Ladle into bowls and garnish with cilantro
