WHITE PEACH SANGRIA

White Peach Sangria image

This is my adaptation of a drink served at Applebees. It is so easy and cheap. The recipe I wrote is for a single 10-oz drink, but feel free to adapt to make a pitcher (or two :-) The brands don't really matter but these are my personal preferences that I wanted to remember. And feel free to add whatever fruit you like! Best if served chilled of course!

Applebee's white peach sangria recipe is a refreshing drink that combines white wine, peach schnapps, and various fresh fruits to create a fruity and delicious cocktail. This drink is perfect for sipping on a hot summer day or as a party drink for a gathering with friends and family. If you are planning to make Applebee's white peach sangria recipe, there are a few valuable tips to keep in mind. These tips will help you create the perfect drink that is not only delicious but also easy to make.

Tip 1: Choosing the Right Wine

The first and most crucial step in making Applebee's white peach sangria recipe is choosing the right wine. The recipe calls for a dry white wine like Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc. The wine's dryness balances the sweetness of the peach schnapps and fruit, creating a well-balanced drink. When choosing the wine, it is important to select one that you enjoy drinking. The flavor of the wine will influence the taste of the final drink. If you prefer a more citrusy taste, choose a Sauvignon Blanc. If you like fruitier wine, Pinot Grigio may be the best choice for you.

Tip 2: Pick High-Quality Ingredients

The quality of the ingredients you use to make Applebee's white peach sangria recipe has a significant impact on the drink's final taste. Choosing high-quality ingredients can help you create a smooth and well-balanced drink. When selecting fruit, choose ripe fruit for a sweeter flavor. Look for fresh, fragrant peaches with a soft texture. Fresh fruits like strawberries, oranges, and apples add a colorful and flavorful touch to the drink. If possible, try to use organic fruit and produce for a healthier and more natural drink. Freshly squeezed fruit juice is also a better option than store-bought juices, which may contain added sugars and artificial flavors.

Tip 3: Use a Large Pitcher

Applebee's white peach sangria recipe requires a large pitcher to accommodate all the ingredients. Look for a pitcher that can hold at least half a gallon of liquid. This size allows you to make enough sangria to serve several people. Using a large pitcher also helps you mix the ingredients thoroughly and evenly. The fruits and wine need to be well mixed to ensure that each sip contains all the flavors.

Tip 4: Chill the Wine and Fruits

Chilling the wine and fruits before making the sangria ensures that your drink is crisp, refreshing, and delicious. Cold wine prevents the ice from melting too quickly and diluting the drink's flavors. Chilled fruits are also essential in making Applebee's white peach sangria recipe. Cold fruits help to keep the drink chilled for longer. You can refrigerate the fruits for an hour or two before using them. It is recommended to add ice to the drink just before serving to avoid a watered-down drink. This tip also helps keep the drink cold as it is being served.

Tip 5: Add the Fruits to Your Liking

One of the best things about Applebee's white peach sangria recipe is that you can add your favorite fruits to the mix. Adding a mix of fruits makes the drink taste better and adds an attractive look to your sangria. The recipe calls for diced peaches, strawberries, oranges, and limes, but you can add other fruits like pears, apples, or raspberries. Choose fruits with different colors and textures to make the drink visually appealing.

Tip 6: Let It Rest Before Serving

Once you have mixed all the ingredients, let the Applebee's white peach sangria rest for at least an hour in the refrigerator. This step is crucial as it helps the fruits absorb the wine's flavors, making the drink more delicious. Allowing the sangria to rest also allows the fruits to release their juices, adding more flavor to the drink. You can garnish your glass with some fresh fruit slices before serving.

Tip 7: Serve in a Large Wine Glass

Applebee's white peach sangria recipe is best served in a large wine glass over ice. You can also use a pitcher to serve the drink to several people. Garnish each glass with a slice of fresh fruit, such as a peach or strawberry. Serve the drink chilled and allow your guests to add more ice if needed. This refreshing drink is perfect for sipping on a hot day or during a summer party.

Conclusion

Applebee's white peach sangria recipe is a delicious and refreshing drink that is perfect for summer days and parties. With these valuable tips, you can make the perfect sangria that is not only tasty but also easy to make. Remember to use high-quality ingredients, pick a dry white wine, and a variety of fresh fruits. Chill the wine and fruits before preparing the drink, let it rest, and serve it in a large wine glass over ice. And finally, garnish it with a slice of fresh fruit for a beautiful presentation.
