- Reserve 1/4 cup yogurt for topping. Divide remaining yogurt among 4 (8-oz) glasses or dessert dishes. Spoon 1/2 cup of the apple chunks over yogurt in each glass.
- Top each with 1 tablespoon of the remaining yogurt. Spoon 1 tablespoon caramel topping over yogurt. Sprinkle pecans over each parfait. Serve immediately.

APPLE CINNAMON GREEK YOGURT BREAKFAST PARFAITS
Honey, vanilla, and cinnamon stirred into Greek yogurt and then layered with crisp apples and applesauce. We love this as a fancy fall breakfast, but it passes just as easily for a surprisingly decadent dessert.

Steps:
- Have two sturdy glasses, mason jars, or mini trifle bowls ready.
- To a medium bowl, add the yogurt, honey, vanilla, and cinnamon. Stir well to combine.
- Grab 1/4 of the apples and sprinkle them at the bottom of the glasses. Add 1/3 of the yogurt, a few spoonfuls each. Depending on the size of your glass, you may need to spread the layers gently with the back of a spoon to distribute to the edge of the glass. Top with more apples (1/4), then more yogurt (1/3). Add all of the applesauce (2 tablespoons per glass), then more apples (1/4). Top with remaining yogurt and sprinkle with remaining apples. Drizzle with a little more honey and sprinkle with cinnamon if desired. Serve.

Instructions
To prepare apple yogurt parfaits for two recipes, follow these simple steps:Step 1: Cook the apples
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the sliced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon and water.
- Cook for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the apples are soft and tender.
- Remove from heat and let it cool down.
Step 2: Make the yogurt layer
- In a small bowl, mix together the Greek yogurt, honey and vanilla extract until well combined.
Step 3: Assemble the parfaits
- Take two glasses or jars and layer the ingredients in the following order:
- Start with a layer of granola at the bottom.
- Add a layer of cooked apples on top of the granola.
- Finally, spoon the yogurt mixture over the apple layer.
- Repeat the layers until the glasses or jars are full, ending with a layer of granola on top.
Step 4: Chill and serve
- Cover the glasses or jars with plastic wrap and place them in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to chill.
- When ready to serve, remove from the refrigerator, remove the plastic wrap, and drizzle with honey on top.
- Garnish with some fresh apple slices or mint leaves, if desired.
