- Preheat oven to 350°. Line a 13x9-in. baking pan with parchment, letting ends extend up sides. , In a large bowl, beat brown sugar, melted butter, syrup and vanilla until blended. Beat in eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. In another bowl, whisk flour, salt and baking soda; gradually beat into brown sugar mixture. Stir in apples (batter will be thick)., Transfer to prepared pan. - Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.

APPLE BROWN BUTTER BLONDIES
Steps:
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9-inch square baking pan with pan spray, line with parchment and spray the parchment. Set aside.
- Place the diced apples in a single layer on a microwave-safe plate and cover with another plate. Microwave for 2 minutes, until the apples have softened and given off some liquid. Transfer the apples to a paper towel-lined tray and set aside.
- In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, brown the butter until it is a deep golden color, 5 to 7 minutes. Immediately pour the hot butter into a medium heat-proof mixing bowl. Add the cinnamon, clove, salt, baking powder and brown sugar. Whisk to combine. Whisk in the vanilla, whole egg and egg yolk until smooth. Add the all-purpose flour and stir with a rubber spatula until nearly combined. Add the reserved apple pieces and the nuts to the batter, saving about 2 tablespoons of each for topping the blondies. Stir the batter until the nuts and apples are evenly combined and then pour the batter into your prepared pan. Press the reserved pecans and apple pieces evenly into the top of the batter.

- Preheat oven to 350˚F (180˚C).
- In a bowl, add the butter, brown sugar, sugar, cinnamon and flour. Use a fork incorporate all of the ingredients until a coarse crumb forms. Chill until ready to use.
- In a bowl, add the flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and baking soda, stir to combine.
- In a large bowl, add the butter, sugar, and maple syrup. Whisk until fully incorporated,
- Add the egg and vanilla to the bowl with the butter and mix until fully incorporated.
- Add half of the flour mixture, and mix until just combined. Add the second half of the flour mixture and mix until there are streaks of flour still showing, making sure to not overmix.
- Pour the lemon juice over the apples then gently fold the apples into the batter.
- Spread batter evenly into a greased 9-inch (23 cm) square cake pan.
- Sprinkle crumble mixture over the top, creating different size crumble pieces by squeezing some small clumps together in your hands for varying texture.
- Bake for 25 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean, cover with foil the last 5 minutes to prevent the top from over baking.
- Let cool for about 20 minutes, slice and serve.

- Preheat oven to 350*.
- In a large bowl mix and cream together the sugars and the shortening. If you don't have butter-flavored shortening, you can add butter-flavored extract. I recommend Crisco.
- Add eggs one at a time; mixing well after each egg.
- Add baking powder, salt, vanilla, and cinnamon.
- Add flour a little at a time mixing well. Batter will be really thick, kinda like dough.
- Fold in apples and walnuts.
- Spread into greased 9x13 baking dish.
- Bake for approx. 25-30 mins until golden on top and it no longer looks wet.
- While blondies are baking, mix up the glaze. It should have the consistency of pancake batter.
- After blondies are done baking remove them from the oven, wait about 5 minutes then drizzle glaze over the blondies. Let cool for about 15 mins, then cut and serve. :)

Apple season is my inspiration for baking some amazing fall flavors into a bar cookie. These blondies emulate the texture of fudgy brownies and get nutty caramel notes from browned butter. Everything pairs perfectly with sliced apples that have simmered in warming spices on the stovetop and then get folded into the batter. Serve these awesome treats on their own, or top them with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or with some whipped Greek yogurt. You may be surprised how easily these blondies come together.

- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9-by-13-inch baking pan with cooking spray and line it with parchment paper, letting the paper hang over the sides by a couple inches. (This will help you easily lift the blondies out of the pan.) Set aside.
- Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Continue to cook until the butter is golden-brown and smells nutty, 5 to 7 minutes. Pour into a heatproof bowl or liquid measuring cup to cool.
- Put the apple in the same saucepan (don't get rid of those residual buttery bits, they'll add some nice flavor to the apples) along with 1/2 cup of the brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon ginger and a pinch of kosher salt. Cook over medium heat until the apples have softened and the sugar has caramelized, 5 to 7 minutes. Set aside to cool.
- In a large bowl, combine the remaining 2 cups brown sugar, the flour, lime zest, baking powder, remaining 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, remaining1/4 teaspoon ginger, the baking powder, nutmeg and 1 teaspoon kosher salt. Whisk to combine. Whisk the eggs, lime juice and vanilla into the browned butter. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix with a wooden spoon or rubber spatula until just combined. Fold in the apples.
- Scrape the batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly to the sides of the pan. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt. Bake until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, 30 to 35 minutes.
- Cool the blondies completely in the pan. Use the parchment to lift the blondies out of the pan. Peel away the parchment. To slice, cut the blondies in half widthwise and then cut each half into thirds; you'll have 6 strips. Cut each strip into 4 squares. Enjoy!

- Blondies 1. Heat oven to 350 degrees . Coat a 12-cavity brownie pan (such as Wilton Brownie Bar Pan) with nonstick cooking spray. 2. Place nuts on a rimmed baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool slightly and rub nuts with fingers to remove skin. Chop nuts and reserve. 3. Meanwhile, in a large bowl, combine sugars, butter, eggs and vanilla. Whisk together flour, baking powder and salt; stir into sugar-and-butter mixture until dry ingredients are just moistened. Fold in apples and 3/4 cup of the chopped nuts. 4. - 1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Coat an 11x7x2-inch baking pan with nonstick, cooking spray. Beat sugar, brown sugar and apple pie spice in large bowl with electric mixer on low speed until mixed well. Remove 2 tablespoons sugar mixture to small bowl and set aside. Add butter to mixing bowl and beat until mixed well. Add eggs and vanilla; mix thoroughly.

- Preheat oven to 350°. Spray 9×13 baking pan lightly with cooking or baking spray.
- Cream butter and brown sugar in mixer until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla and beat on medium until combined. On low, add flour, baking powder, and salt. Mixing until just combined.
- Stir in the chopped apples and toffee bits until evenly distributed. Spread in prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes until the center is set. Let cool completely before slicing or frosting.
