Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large mixing bowl, stir powder cake mix, cinnamon, and pie filling together with a large wooden spoon.
- Transfer mixture into 9x13 ungreased glass or ceramic baking dish. {Do NOT grease pan}
- Bake for 30 - 35 minutes, or until top is golden brown.
- After baking, it is completely normal for your cake to fall in the middle as it cools.
- Cut into 12 squares, and top with optional whip cream and additional sprinkles of cinnamon on top. ENJOY!

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Stir apples, 2/3 cup sugar, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg together; distribute apple mixture into a 9x9-inch baking dish that is at least 2 inches deep.
- Whisk flour, remaining 1 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt together in a bowl. Stir egg, cream and melted butter together in a cup; pour egg mixture into flour mixture and stir until all ingredients are moistened. Using the back of a spoon, spread batter over apple mixture to seal apples in completely.
- Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown on top, about 50 minutes.

- Place egg whites in a large bowl; let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes. Sift confectioners' sugar and flour together twice; set aside. , Add cream of tartar, vanilla and almond extract and salt to egg whites; beat on medium speed until soft peaks form. Gradually add granulated sugar, about 2 tablespoons at a time, beating on high until stiff glossy peaks form and sugar is dissolved. Gradually fold in flour mixture, about 1/2 cup at a time., Gently spoon into an ungreased 10-in. tube pan. Cut through the batter with a knife to remove air pockets. Bake on the lowest oven rack at 375° for 35-40 minutes or until lightly browned and entire top appears dry.
