However, to make the dish perfectly, a few tips and tricks can come in handy. Here are some valuable tips to keep in mind when making angel hair with pesto chicken meatballs recipes.

Tip #1: Choosing the best quality chicken

When it comes to making meatballs, the quality of chicken is as important as any other ingredient. Always opt for fresh chicken breast and grind it yourself. This way, you can control the quality of the meat and remove any unwanted fat, cartilage or gristle. Moreover, fresh chicken meat will ensure moist and tender meatballs, which are the key to this recipe.
Sub-tip: Grinding chicken meat
Grinding chicken meat is a simple process that can be done at home easily. All you need to do is to cut the chicken breast into small pieces and pulse them in a food processor until finely chopped. Avoid over-processing the meat as this can lead to a dry and tough meatball.

Tip #2: Making the perfect meatballs

Making the perfect meatballs is the most crucial step in the angel hair with pesto chicken meatballs recipe. Here are some tips to keep in mind when making the meatballs:
Use breadcrumbs and eggs:
Breadcrumbs and eggs are the binding agents that keep the meatballs together. Make sure to use fresh breadcrumbs and enough eggs to hold the meat together.
Season the meat:
Season the ground chicken mixture well with salt, pepper, and any other herbs or spices of your choice. This will add flavor to your meatballs.
Shape and size:
Shape the meatballs into even-sized balls, around 1-1.5 inches in diameter. This will ensure that they cook evenly and are of the same size.
Cooking the meatballs:
Pan-fry the meatballs until golden brown on the outside and cooked through on the inside. You can also bake them in the oven at 400°F for 15-20 minutes. Avoid overcooking the meatballs as this can make them tough and dry.

Tip #3: Making the perfect pesto sauce

A good pesto sauce is the backbone of the angel hair with pesto chicken meatballs recipe. Here are some tips to make the perfect pesto sauce:
Use fresh ingredients:
Use fresh basil, garlic, pine nuts, parmesan cheese and olive oil to make the pesto sauce. This will ensure a fresh and aromatic sauce.
Pulse the ingredients:
Pulse the basil, garlic, pine nuts and parmesan cheese in a food processor until finely chopped. This will ensure a smooth and creamy sauce.
Add oil slowly:
Add the olive oil slowly while pulsing the ingredients until you reach the desired consistency. Adding oil slowly will ensure the sauce remains smooth and well-blended.
Season well:
Season the pesto sauce well with salt and pepper to taste. This will enhance the flavor of the sauce.

Tip #4: Cooking the Angel hair pasta

The right way of cooking the angel hair pasta can make a significant difference to the overall taste and texture of the dish. Here are some tips to cook the pasta perfectly:
Use a large pot:
Use a large pot of salted boiling water to cook the pasta. This will help to prevent the pasta from sticking together.
Timing is key:
Angel hair pasta cooks quickly, usually in around 3-5 minutes. Keep a close eye on the pasta and take it out of the boiling water as soon as it's al dente.
Reserve some pasta water:
Reserve some pasta water before draining the pasta. This starchy water may come in handy while making the sauce later.

Tip #5: Bringing it all together

To bring the dish together, toss the cooked pasta with the pesto sauce and some reserved pasta water if needed. Place the meatballs on top of the pasta and garnish with some fresh basil leaves and parmesan cheese. Serve hot and enjoy!
