1 lb lean ground turkey, raw
1 (29 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes, drained
1 (15 ounce) can chili beans, undrained (pinto beans in chili sauce)
1 (15 ounce) can red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
3/4 cup sweet corn, canned, drained
4 -5 chipotle chiles in adobo, canned, chopped, sauce reserved
2 bell peppers, chopped (in different colors)
1 large onion, chopped
2 carrots, chopped
2 teaspoons garlic, minced
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 ounce dark chocolate (70% broken into small pieces cacao)
1 dash salt, to taste
1 dollop nonfat sour cream

Steps:

  • Bring a large pan sprayed with nonstick spray to medium heat on the stove. Add turkey and spread it around in the pan to break it up a bit. Cook and crumble until meat is brown and cooked through, about 6 minutes. Drain any fat or liquid, and then transfer turkey to the crock pot.
  • Add all other ingredients except for the chocolate to the crock pot. Add 1 tablespoon adobo sauce (from the canned chipotles). Mix well to combine.
  • Cover and cook on high for 2 hours, and then reduce heat to low and cook for an additional 3 hours. (OR cover and cook on low for 6 - 7 hours straight.)
  • Add chocolate and stir until pieces melt and disappear into chili. Cover and cook for 1 hour longer on low. Add salt to taste. If you like, top each serving with a little sour cream. Mmmmm!

1 green bell pepper, chopped (about 1 cup)
1 small onion, finely chopped (about 1 cup)
2 tbsp. GOYA® Minced Garlic, or 6 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 lb. ground turkey
11/2 tsp. ground cumin
GOYA® Adobo All-Purpose Seasoning with Pepper, to taste
2 cans (15 oz. each) GOYA® Low Sodium Red Kidney Beans, drained
2 cans (8 oz. each) GOYA® Tomato Sauce
Coarsely chopped fresh cilantro

Steps:

  • 1. Heat oil in medium pot over medium heat. Stir in peppers, onions and garlic; cook until tender, 5-7 minutes. Add turkey, cumin and Adobo. Cook, breaking up turkey with spoon, until browned, about 5 minutes.
  • 2. Stir in beans, tomato sauce, 1 cup water and chipotle; bring liquid to boil. Reduce heat. Simmer until chili thickens and flavors come together, about 10 minutes. Season with Adobo.

1 pound lean ground turkey
3/4 cup chopped celery
3/4 cup chopped onion
3/4 cup chopped green pepper
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 cans (14-1/2 ounces each) no-salt-added diced tomatoes, undrained
1 jar (24 ounces) meatless pasta sauce
1 can (16 ounces) hot chili beans, undrained
1-1/2 cups water
1/2 cup frozen corn
1 can (16 ounces) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 can (15 ounces) pinto beans, rinsed and drained
Optional toppings: Sour cream, cubed avocado, diced jalapeno peppers

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, cook and crumble turkey with celery, onion and pepper over medium-high heat until turkey is no longer pink, 6-8 minutes. Transfer to a 5-qt. slow cooker. Stir in seasonings, tomatoes, pasta sauce, chili beans, water and corn., Cook, covered, on high 1 hour. Reduce setting to low; cook, covered, until flavors are blended, 5-6 hours., Stir in kidney and pinto beans; cook, covered, on low 30 minutes longer. 1 (15-ounce) can chili beans (pinto beans in chili sauce), not drained

1 cup frozen sliced or chopped carrots
1 cup frozen sweet corn kernels
2 bell peppers (different colors), chopped
1 large onion, chopped
1 to 3 canned chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, chopped, sauce reserved
2 teaspoons chopped garlic
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 pound raw lean ground turkey
Salt

Steps:

  • Combine all of the ingredients except the turkey and salt in a large bowl. Add 2 teaspoons of adobo sauce from the canned chipotle peppers. Mix to combine and coat all of the beans and veggies with sauce.
  • Put the turkey in the bottom of the crock pot and break it up into small chunks. Pour the chili mixture on top and mix.
  • Cover and cook on high for 3 to 4 hours or on low for 7 to 8 hours. Stir to distribute the turkey. Add salt, to taste.
