Number Of Ingredients 7

2 pkg packages of cream cheese, softened, 8 oz each
1/3 c green onion, finely chopped
1/4 c bell pepper, finely chopped
18 oz pineapple, crushed
2 tsp seasoning salt
1 c pecans, finely chopped
1 c pecans, chopped

Steps:

  • 1. Cream cheese should be at room temperature. Add cream cheese, onion, bell pepper, pineapple, season salt, and pecans into a large bowl.
  • 2. Mix until combined. The easiest way to mix this is to use your hands.
  • 3. After you have mixed all ingredients well shape into a ball. Wrap in plastic wrap and let chill for 1 1/2 hours.
  • 4. Roll your cheeses ball into the cup of finely chopped pecans. Once completely covered serve with your favorite crackers!

I borrowed this recipe from my sister-in-law, Laura Gwaltney, many years ago after sampling it at a family Christmas dinner. I took it to work last year for our Christmas party, and they all loved it! You be the judge!

1 package(s) (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1 jar(s) (5 oz.) old english cheese spread
1 jar(s) (5 oz.) roka cheese spread
1 small onion, chopped fine (or may use 3 tbsp. minced onion)
1/8 teaspoon(s) garlic powder
1 package(s) walnut pieces

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together, except walnuts.
  • Form mixture into ball shape and place on a plate. Cover with chopped walnut pieces.
  • Refrigerate overnight and serve slightly chilled with assorted crackers.
