Another fun, pink, girls night drink from the X-rated Fusion website- apparently this is a liqueur with blood oranges,mangoes, passionfruit and french vodka! Yummy!!(***ZWT3 - X-Rated Fusion is Premium FRENCH vodka)

1 ounce x-rated fusion liqueur
1 ounce tequila
2 ounces sweet and sour cocktail mix
ice
1 dash Rose's lime juice
2 lime wedges
1 dash 7-Up soda

Steps:

  • In a blender add X-rated liqueur, tequilla, sweet and sour, lime juice and desired amount of ice.
  • Set to crush, or until the consistecy desired for a margarita - may turn watery if you over blend though.
  • Pour into margarita glass and topwith a splash of 7-Up and a lime wedge(twist) for garnish.
  • Enjoy! ;).

1 large cucumber
2 cups plain yogurt
3/4 teaspoon cumin
1/4 teaspoon ground coriander seed
1/8 teaspoon cayenne
Juice of 1 lemon
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
1/4 cup chopped fresh mint
Pita wedges, for serving

Steps:

  • Slice the cucumber in half. Use a spoon to scrape out the seeds, then grate it onto paper towels. Squeeze the cucumber in the paper towels to remove the excess moisture, then set aside.
  • In a bowl, stir together the yogurt, cumin, coriander, cayenne, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Add the cucumber and stir to combine, then stir in the mint. Taste and adjust the seasoning as you desire.
  • Cover and refrigerate for a couple of hours to allow the flavors to combine. Serve as a dip with pita wedges.

CHOCOLATE NOG-A-RITA

1 pint dark chocolate ice cream, melted or half melted
1/2 cup whole milk
2 ounces bourbon
2 ounces dark rum
2 ounces walnut liqueur, such as Nocino
1 large egg white
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon Aleppo chile flakes or powder

Steps:

  • Mix the melted ice cream, milk, bourbon, dark rum and Nocino together in a bowl and keep chilled.
  • Set the egg white in a shallow dish.
  • Mix together the sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon and Aleppo in a separate shallow dish.
  • Dip the rim of 4 chilled coupe glasses or other glasses into the egg white, then into the sugar and spice mixture.
  • Pour 1 cup of the mixture into a large cocktail shaker and add ice. Shake for 30 seconds. Strain into the glasses and serve. Keep any leftover ice cream mixture chilled until ready to serve more.
  • Alternatively, blend the mixture with ice in an electric blender and pour into the prepared glasses.

1 part blood orange juice
1/2 part lime juice
1/2 part simple syrup
1 blood orange wedge

Steps:

  • Add ingredients to an ice-filled shaker. Shake and strain over ice into a margarita glass. Garnish with blood orange wedge on rim and serve.

1 English hot-house cucumber, peeled and diced
1/2 red bell pepper, finely diced
6 ounces plain yogurt
2 tablespoons fresh mint leaves, finely chopped
Salt and pepper

Steps:

  • Put all ingredients in a bowl and stir to combine. Season with salt and pepper, to taste. Chill, covered, for at least 1 hour.
  • Cook's Note: Raitas are yogurt salads that are designed to counter-balance the spiciness of Indian foods.
