VIDALIA ONION SWISS DIP
I've got one of those sweet, creamy dips you can't resist. Bake it in the oven, or use the slow cooker to make it ooey-gooey marvelous. -Judy Batson, Tampa, Florida

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375°. In a large bowl, mix the first five ingredients. Transfer to a deep-dish pie plate., Bake, uncovered, 25-30 minutes or until edges are golden brown and onion is tender. If desired, sprinkle with pepper. Serve warm with crackers.

SWISS CHEESE VIDALIA ONION DIP
This is the best hot appetizer dip. It can be thrown together so quickly. Serve this with hearty crackers. You will be asked to bring it the next time you go to a gathering!

Steps:
- 1. Combine the onion, mayonnaise, and swiss cheese.
- 2. Place in deep dish pie plate or casserole dish. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese
- 3. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until bubbly and golden on top.
- 4. Serve hot with hearty crackers.
- 5. Note: Be sure that the dish is deep and you have some room at the top of the dish, the cheese and mayonnaise oils will spill over if you take the mixture to the top of the baking dish.
