Crock Pot Cheeseburger dip is a super easy hot and melty cheese dip with seasoned ground beef, beans and Rotel. Perfect for a hearty game day recipe, this Velveeta made Dip keeps it easy and tastes just like a cheeseburger in dip form. Meaty and cheesy, this dip is perfect not only as a hot appetizer or movie snack but doubles down as the best dinner as well. Add in onion, bacon, jalapenos, chilies or even top with avocado for a loaded cheeseburger dip that is sure to please the crowd and make the ULTIMATE game day. No bun needed to enjoy this cheeseburger! For a real treat, serve with homemade tortilla chips.

1 lb Velveeta cheese (cut into cubes)
1 can (10 oz. Rotel tomatoes)
1 lb. ground beef or ground sirloin
1/3 cup sour cream
1 package (1.25 oz. taco seasoning)
2 green onions (sliced)
1 can Black Beans (drained and rinsed)
tortilla chips for serving

Steps:

  • Season and cook ground beef (or sirloin) on the stove top. Drain of an excess grease.
  • In a crock pot, add cubes of Velveeta Cheese (original or Queso Blanco), 1 can of Rotel Tomatoes, all seasoned ground beef, sour cream and taco seasoning. Mix well together to spread seasonings amongst other ingredients.
  • Place lid on crock pot and heat on HIGH for 45 minutes, stirring every 20 minutes. Smaller crock pots may need additional time to melt cheese, just continue stirring every 20 minutes until dip is melted and creamy.
  • 15 minutes prior to serving, add a can of drained and rinsed black beans and continue to heat.
  • Keep crock pot on low/warm for serving and keep cheese melted during a party.
  • Combine with Tortilla Chips for the Ultimate Nacho Cheese Dip!

1/2 lb ground beef
1 lb Velveeta cheese, cut up
1/2 cup sour cream
1 (1 1/4 ounce) package taco seasoning

Steps:

  • Brown meat in large skillet on medium-high heat; drain, reserving meat in skillet. Stir in taco seasoning.
  • Reduce heat to low. Add remaining ingredients; cook until Velveeta is melted, stirring occasionally.
  • I pour it into a oven safe bowl* and then serve in individual bowls and with tortilla chips.
