FRESH PEAR BREAD
When our tree branches are loaded with ripe and juicy fruit, I treat my family and friends to lots of easy pear recipes. I always receive raves and requests for this particular pear bread recipe because of the mix of fun ingredients.-Linda Patrick, Houston, Texas

Steps:
- In a bowl, combine the eggs, sugar, oil and vanilla; mix well. Combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda and salt; stir into the egg mixture just until moistened. Toss pears with lemon juice. Stir pears and walnuts into batter (batter will be thick). , Spoon into 2 greased 9x5-in. loaf pans. Bake at 350° for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks.

VEGAN CINNAMON PEAR BREAD AMISH
I made this for my family and my 17 year old daughter and my 53 year brother in law wrote down the recipe to keep. My brother law ate most of the first pan. My daughter has never asked for a recipe before. I had to tweak this recipe a lot to make it vegan.

Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Grease 2 bread loaf pans
- 2. Cream together butter, 2 cups of sugar, 1 medium ripe banana. Add almond milk with vinegar, flour, and baking soda. Fold in 2 diced pears or you could use apples too.
- 3. Pour batter into two greased loaf pans. I used pampered chef stoneware bread pans.
- 4. mix together in separate bowl 1 cup sugar and 2 teaspoons real cinnamon and sprinkle over the batter of both pans. swirl some into batter with knife
- 5. Bake @ 350 degrees for 45-55 minutes or test with a toothpick - comes out clean. Cool in pan for 25 minutes.
