I got these through one of those Internet recipe chain letter thingies, and you know what? These are really good!

Number Of Ingredients 16

1 cup butter, melted and cooled
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs, beaten
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup crushed corn flakes
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla
3/4 cup sweetened flaked coconut
1 cup raisins
1 cup chocolate chips
3/4 cup toffee pieces
3/4 cup chopped walnuts

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine oats, corn flakes, sugars, raisins and coconut.
  • Add eggs, vanilla and melted butter.
  • Mix till well blended.
  • Mix in chocolate chips.
  • In a separate bowl, mix flour salt, baking powder and baking soda.
  • Add flour mixture and stir until it is all incorporated into the dough.
  • Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a greased cookie sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes or until nicely browned.
  • Cool on a wire rack.

1 1/4 cups of flour
3/8 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 sticks butter
3/8 cup granulated sugar
3/8 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Steps:

  • In a small bowl whisk cups of flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside. Beat butter and sugars until fluffy. Add in vanilla and eggs. Gradually add in the flour mixture. Stir in chips. Refrigerate dough for 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 350 and prepare baking sheets. Roll dough into balls and place onto cookie sheets. Bake 8 to 12 minutes until light golden brown. Yield: 36 cookies
