PESTO TUNA PASTA SALAD
I am always looking for recipes that my boyfriend, Bill, can take to work for his lunch. I like to make sure they include both some protein and carbs, since he does heavy physical labor and needs to be appropriately refueled. TUNA TARRAGON PASTA SALAD
My husband and I love the unique flavor of the tuna pasta salad at our local Sweet Tomatoes restaurant. The natural sweetness from the tarragon blends beautifully with the mild tuna. I developed this recipe at home and it comes really close to real thing...maybe even surpassing it. The restaurant chain uses a mixed pasta consisting of broken spinach fettucini, broken regular fettucini and sea shells, but I don't usually keep all those pastas on-hand. I also took the liberty of adding peas (I just love peas and tuna together).

TUNA & ARTICHOKE PASTA SALAD
I have been making this light, tangy pasta salad ever since I was at the University of Wyoming in the late 1980s. Made with pantry ingredients, it's quick and easy. A nice lunch or summertime dinner with fresh fruit or hearty bread. Sometimes I add halved cherry or grape tomatoes for a little sweetness. Leftovers are just as good! PASTA SALAD WITH MARINATED TOMATOES AND TUNA
Fresh, quick-marinated tomatoes make the best sauces for pasta salad because not much needs to be done beyond tossing the tomatoes with hot pasta, salt and olive oil. The juices from the tomatoes and the heat create a gloriously glossy combination. Feel free to make this pasta salad ahead of time, then toss in flaked tuna right before serving.
