THREE-LAYER BARS
The holidays wouldn't be the same without these rich, candy-like bars. A little goes a long way to satisfying a sweet tooth.

- In a large saucepan, combine the butter, cocoa and sugar. Cook and stir over low heat until butter is melted. Stir a small amount of mixture into the egg; return all to the pan, stirring constantly. Cook over low heat for 5 minutes or until mixture reaches 160°. Stir in the wafer crumbs, coconut and vanilla. , Press into an ungreased 8-in. square dish. Let stand for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, whisk milk and pudding mix for 2 minutes. Let stand for 2 minutes. , In a small bowl, cream butter and confectioners' sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in pudding. Spread over crust. Cover and refrigerate for 15 minutes or until firm. , In a microwave, melt chocolate and butter; stir until smooth. Cool slightly. Spread over filling. Refrigerate until serving. Cut into bars.

- Line a lightly greased 9x13 pan with whole club crackers.
- Heat sugars, graham cracker crumbs, milk, and margarine to a slow boil.
- Pour over crackers in pan and add another layer of Club crackers.
- Melt together peanut butter, chocolate chips and butterscotch chips.
- Pour over crackers and cool.
THREE LAYER DAIRY BARS
My college friend's Mom used to make these and I loved them. I lost the recipe, but I found this in a cookbook and think its very similar. Hope you enjoy!

- 1. Mix the graham cracker crumbs, flaked coconut, and nuts together in a medium bowl. Cream together butter, sugar and egg. Cook in double boiler until egg is cooked and slightly thick, about 5 minutes. Pour the cooked mixture of graham cracker crumb mixture. Mix well and put in a 9 x 13 inch buttered pan. Press with fingers to form the first layer. Chill a few hours or overnight in the refrigerator.
- 2. For the second layer cream together powdered sugar, butter, milk, and vanilla. Spread on chilled layer in pan. Chill again.
- 3. For the third layer melt the chocolate chips (you can use a Hershey Bar if you like) in double boiler. Watch carefully while melting so it does not burn. Once melted spread on top of second layer quickly by spoonfuls. It hardens very quickly. It is best to cut bars as soon as the chocolate has set. Store in refrigerator,
THREE LAYER PEANUT BUTTER BARS
Found this recipe on the web -- looks good, and different from some of the other peanut butter bar recipes out there! NOTE: Cooking time does not include cooling/chill time.

- Preheat oven to 350º. In medium bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and baking soda; cut in margarine and 1 teaspoon vanilla until crumbly.
- Press firmly on bottom of ungreased 13x9-inch baking pan.
- Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees or until lightly browned.
- Top evenly with marshmallows; bake 2 minutes longer or until marshmallows begin to puff.
- Remove from oven; cool.
- While layers are baking, in heavy saucepan, over medium heat, combine condensed milk and peanut butter ; cook and stir until slightly thickened, 6 to 8 minutes.
- Remove from heat; stir in noodles, nuts and remaining 2 teaspoons vanilla. Spread evenly over marshmallows.
- Cool. Chill. Cut into bars.
