This is a great recipe for a quick four ingredient chili for those cold nights when the kids have hockey or any sport and you have to run around! Of course, adding cheese and onions if you have time will enhance this meal, as will saltine crackers. Enjoy!

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 pound ground beef
1 (14.5 ounce) can canned diced tomatoes
1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans, drained
1 (1.25 ounce) package chili seasoning mix

Steps:

  • Crumble the beef into a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir until evenly browned. Drain off grease, and mix in the tomatoes, kidney beans and chili seasoning mix. Reduce heat to medium, and simmer for 15 minutes.

1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
4 garlic cloves, minced
2-1/2 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1 (15 oz) can pinto beans
1 (14.5 oz) can beef broth
1 (14.5 oz) crushed tomatoes

Steps:

  • Brown beef with onion and garlic in a large deep skillet over medium-high heat, 5 to 6 minutes. Add seasonings and stir to combine. Heat 1 minutes. Stir beans, broth and tomatoes into beef. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to medium and simmer 15 minutes, uncovered. Garnish with onion and shredded cheese.
