The surprise is that this is delicious! This comes from my friend, Shawna, and is ridiculously easy to make. It seems to get even better the second day.

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 (2 lb) package frozen frozen tater tots
1 lb ground turkey or 1 lb ground beef
2 (14 1/2 ounce) cans cut green beans
2 (10 3/4 ounce) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/2-1 cup milk
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Brown ground turkey (or beef), season to taste (Johnny's Seasoning Salt is very good for this, but salt and pepper will do nicely), drain and set aside.
  • Heat oven to 425 degrees.
  • Line the bottom of an 11x13 rectangular baking dish with the frozen tater tots.
  • Layer the browned ground meat next, then the green beans.
  • In a bowl or large measuring cup mix the soup and enough milk that when mixed with the soup makes it easy to pour but not excessively runny.
  • Pour mixture on top of the green beans and spread around to coat the top of the casserole.
  • Top with the shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Bake for 30-45 minutes until casserole is bubbly and the cheese is melted and starting to brown.

32 ounces tater tots
6 -8 slices Velveeta cheese
1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
1 medium onion, diced
0.5 (10 1/2 ounce) can milk (soup can)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
salt & pepper

Steps:

  • Press uncooked ground beef in a 9x13 pan.
  • Season with salt, pepper & garlic powder.
  • Add diced onions.
  • Mix soup with 1/2 can of milk.
  • Place cheese slices over meat & then pour soup mixture over cheese.
  • Place tater tots close together until mixture is covered.
  • Bake at 350°F for 1 & 1/2 hours.
  • Enjoy!

1 lb ground meat (* I use ground turkey--healthier)
1 can (10 3/4 oz.) Campbell's Cheddar Cheese Soup
1 can (10 3/4 oz.) Campbell's Nacho Cheese Soup
2 cans (15-16 oz. each) Veg-all mixed vegetables, drain (I use the no salt added)
1 bag frozen tater tots
1 pkg (4 oz.) Kraft Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Steps:

  • Brown ground meat with seasonings to taste (I use No Salt seasoning, such as Mrs. Dash) -- Put meat to side.
  • Mix soups and mixed vegetables together, cook on medium to low heat, until warm. Add in meat to soup mixture, mix well.
  • Pour into a casserole dish. Top with tater tots -- making a solid layer of tater tots. Sprinkle tater tots with shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Cook for 30 minutes in 350 degrees F oven.

This is a favorite with the grandkids and potluck or covered dish suppers. It is a one pot meal, just serve with salad or coleslaw.

2 lb lean ground beef
1/2 medium chopped onion
2 can(s) cream of mushroom soup
1 c cheddar cheese, shredded
1 c shredded monterey jack cheese
salt and pepper to taste
1 pkg frozen tater tots

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Meanwhile brown ground beef and onion in skillet; drain. Salt and pepper to taste. Place in the bottom of a casserole dish. In a bowl empty the can of mushroom soup and whisk in a half can of water. Pour over ground beef. Combine the cheeses and cover the soup using all of the cheese. Cover the top with tater tots. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes or until tater tots are brown and casserole is bubbly. Serve with saled or coleslaw and bread if desired.

2-1/2 cups frozen Tater Tots or cubed hash brown potatoes
1 cup chopped fully cooked ham
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
4 eggs, beaten
Salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, cook potatoes, ham, onion and green pepper in oil over medium heat for 8-10 minutes or until browned, stirring constantly. (If using Tater Tots, break apart with a spatula; mix well.) Add eggs; cook and stir until eggs are completely set. Season with salt and pepper.
