1 pound(s) lean ground beef
2 tablespoon(s) chopped onion
1 package(s) mccormick taco seasoning or your favorite
- use cornmeal crepe batter
- grated cheese, sliced ripe olives, diced tomato,shredded lettuce,taco sauce

Steps:

  • Make the cornmeal crepes. Brown beef and onion in a small skillet. Drain any grease. Add seasoning and water and simmer until thickened. Spoon mixture onto crepe and fold in triangle fold. or roll up. Top with taco sauce and garnishes.

Number Of Ingredients 4

2 pkg (tubes) crescent roll
1 lb ground beef (or ground turkey)
1 pkg taco seasoning mix
1 1/2 c grated cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • 1. Lay out the two tubes of crescent pastry, thick sides in. Use some of the left over crescent rolls to to make the center a bit thicker.
  • 2. Brown beef and add taco seasoning.
  • 3. Lay beef in a circle inside of the laid out crescent rolls
  • 4. Add cheese to the top
  • 5. Pull over crescent rolls and tuck in under meat and cheese.
  • 6. Add cheese, lettuce, tomato, black olives, sour cream or whatever you desire for your tacos, in the middle.
  • 7. Follow cook time on the pack of crescent rolls, and once it's done, you're good to go. Easy, cheap, and yummy!

1-1/2 pounds ground beef
1/2 cup water
1 envelope taco seasoning
2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup milk
1 can (4 ounces) chopped green chilies, drained
2 medium tomatoes, seeded and chopped
1 cup chopped green onions
1-1/2 cups chopped lettuce
1/2 to 3/4 cup honey barbecue sauce
1 to 1-1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Corn chips

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Add water and taco seasonings; simmer for 5 minutes. , In a large bowl, combine cream cheese and milk; spread on a 14-in. serving platter or pizza pan. Top with meat mixture. Sprinkle with chilies, tomatoes, onions and lettuce. Drizzle with barbecue sauce. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese. Serve with corn chips.

1 cup flour
1/2 cup cornmeal
1 1/2 cups milk
3 eggs
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1 onion, chopped
2 celery ribs, finely chopped
1 (16 ounce) can refried beans
1 (8 3/4 ounce) can creamed corn
2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce
1 (1 1/4 ounce) envelope taco seasoning
1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1/3 cup sliced black olives

Steps:

  • Cook ground beef with onion and celery until onion is clear and meat is no longer pink. Add the refried beans, corn, tomato sauce and taco seasoning and simmer while you are making the crepes.
  • Mix together the crepe ingredients. Use 1/4 c crepe mixture and fry in small amount of hot oil in a small skillet, tilting the skillet to make a thin crepe. Fry only until lightly browned. Turn and cook until lightly brown.
  • Put 2 tbsp of meat filling in the center of each crepe and roll up. Place them seam side down in a 9x13 pan.
  • Pour any remaining filling over the top of all.
  • Top with cheese and olives.
  • Bake 375 degrees for 20 minutes.
  • Serve with sour cream and guacamole.

1 cup all-purpose flour
2 eggs
½ cup milk
½ cup water
¼ teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter, melted

Steps:

  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour and the eggs. Gradually add in the milk and water, stirring to combine. Add the salt and butter; beat until smooth.
  • Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each crepe. Tilt the pan with a circular motion so that the batter coats the surface evenly.
  • Cook the crepe for about 2 minutes, until the bottom is light brown. Loosen with a spatula, turn and cook the other side. Serve hot.
