- Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. In a large bowl, toss together pretzels and almonds.
- In a small saucepan, bring butter, sugar, cayenne, and 1 tablespoon water to a boil, stirring constantly. Pour over pretzel mixture in bowl; gently toss to combine.
- Spread pretzel mixture in a single layer on prepared sheet. Bake until almonds are crisp, about 20 minutes, tossing occasionally. Cool on sheet before serving.

- Place pretzels in a greased roasting pan. In a small saucepan, combine the brown sugar, butter and corn syrup. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Boil for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. , Remove from the heat; stir in vanilla and baking soda (mixture will foam). Pour over pretzels and mix well. , Bake, uncovered, at 200° for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Spread on waxed paper to cool. Store in an airtight container.

- In a 9x13-inch glass dish, combine the pretzels and the nuts.
- In a large saucepan combine the butter, sugar, corn syrup and salt. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
- Bring to a boil and cook until thickened (firm ball stage--260°F). Remove from heat and pour over your pretzel mixture and mix until everything is coated.
- Bake in a preheated 250° oven for about 20 minutes (stir about halfway through). Remove from oven and spread out to cool on a sheet of wax paper.
