I absolutely LOVE Key Lime Pie. This recipe is sooooo easy, but it tastes so good that no one will ever dream that it only took you a few minutes to whip it up. It is the perfect finish to a great meal.

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 can(s) sweetened condensed milk
1/2 - 2/3 c lime juice or key lime juice, to taste (bottled or fresh)
1 12 oz. tub of cool whip, thawed
1 tsp vanilla
a few drops of green food color, if desired.
1 9 inch graham cracker crust
1 fresh lime for garnish

Steps:

  • 1. Combine sweetened condensed milk, lime juice, Cool Whip, and vanilla on low speed until well blended. Add a few drops of green food color, if you desire, and mix in well.
  • 2. Pour into a 9 inch graham cracker crust. Garnish with fresh grated lime peel. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • 3. VARIATION: For a change of pace, fold in a cup of fresh strawberries, coarsley chopped, to the mixture before pouring into the crust. Either way, it is great!

I go this recipe from one of those 4 ingredient recipe books several years ago. Its super easy and so good.

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 container whipped topping (8 ounces)
1 can(s) eagle brand sweetened condensed milk
1/2 c key lime juice
1 graham cracker pie crust
additional whipped topping for top of pie as desired

Steps:

  • 1. Note: Key lime juice is usually available near the Real Lemon juice in grocery stores. Key lime pie is actually yellow in color. You may add a few drops of green food coloring if you like or simply keep it natural.
  • 2. Stir together 8 ounces whipped topping (Cool Whip), sweetened condensed milk, and key lime juice. Pour into pie shell. Garnish with a bit more whiped topping or a few lime slices. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
