3 fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
6 leaves fresh mint
1 fluid ounce white rum
1 fluid ounce sour mix
ice as needed
2 fluid ounces Prosecco

Steps:

  • Combine strawberries and mint in a rocks glass. Smash gently with a muddler until berries are a pulp and herbs smell strong. Add rum and sour mix and stir. Fill 3/4 full with ice and top off with Prosecco.

Number Of Ingredients 5

1/2-1 teaspoon sugar
1 lime wedge (juice)
4 fresh ripe strawberries (2 sliced, one smashed, reserve one for garnish)
3 ounces gin or 3 ounces vodka
club soda (to fill a large ice filled glass)

Steps:

  • In a tall glass, combine the sugar, one smashed ripe strawberry, and a squeeze of juice from the lime wedge. Muddle with the back of a spoon to dissolve the sugar.
  • Add the sliced strawberries and lightly muddle.
  • Fill the glass with ice and add the gin or vodka. Top with a splash of club soda and garnish with the last strawberry.

2 strawberries, hulled and quartered, plus 1 whole strawberry, for garnish
1 ounce Ginger Syrup, recipe follows
2 ounces bourbon
Juice of 1 lime
Splash of club soda
Fresh mint sprig, for garnish
1/2 cup fresh ginger juice
1/2 cup sugar

Steps:

  • Muddle the quartered strawberries with the Ginger Syrup in a cocktail shaker. Add the bourbon and lime juice, fill the shaker with ice and shake well. Strain into a highball glass filled with ice. Top with a splash of soda, garnish with a mint sprig and whole strawberry and serve.
  • Combine the ginger juice and sugar in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Cook, stirring, until the sugar dissolves. Remove from the heat and let cool completely. Keep covered in the refrigerator up 2 weeks.
