STRAWBERRY CREAM CHEESE BREAD
Awesome flavors!!! If you are a strawberry lover, this one is for you! A rich creamy texture to enjoy. The nuts are optional, but does add to flavor combination. If used, chopped pecans are recommended.

Steps:
- With electric mixer cream butter, sugar and cream cheese until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time. Mix in vanilla.
- In separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Blend flour mixture with butter mixture just until blended. Add half 'n half and only stir just to blend -- do not overstir!
- Drain strawberries and blot dry. Carefully just fold in strawberries and nuts. Dough mixture will be thick.
- Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 50 to 60 minutes. Let bread mellow for one day and then serve.

- In a medium bowl, mix the cream cheese, 1 tablespoon of honey, and strawberries until smooth.
- Microwave the cream cheese mixture in 30 second intervals for a total of 5 minutes, stirring between each interval. This helps cook out the moisture so that the mixture doesn't create a large pocket of steam in the bread.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
- In a bowl, mash the bananas with a fork.
- Add the eggs and mix until well combined and frothy.
- Add the Greek yogurt and honey, and mix until incorporated.
- Sprinkle in the whole wheat flour, baking soda, and baking powder, and fold the batter together with a spatula.
- Pour ¾ of the banana bread batter into a greased loaf pan, smoothing it into an even layer with the spatula.
- Pour in the cream cheese filling, making sure to keep it away from the edge of the pan.
- Pour the remaining banana bread batter over the cream cheese filling and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 50-55 minutes, until the top springs back when lightly touched.
- Let the pan cool for 15 minute before removing the loaf from the pan.
- Allow the bread to cool at least 1 hour before slicing and serving.

- Heat oven to 350°F. Lightly spray fluted tube cake pan with cooking spray.
- In large bowl, stir together dough ingredients until well combined. Transfer dough to lightly floured work surface. Divide dough into 24 pieces; roll each piece into a ball.
- In small bowl, stir together brown sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon. Dip 10 balls of dough into 1/2 cup melted butter, tapping off excess; roll in brown sugar-cinnamon mixture. Place coated balls in single layer to cover bottom of pan.
- Spoon half of the strawberries over layer of dough. Dip 10 more balls of dough into butter and coat with brown sugar-cinnamon mixture; arrange in single layer over strawberries. Top with remaining strawberries. Dip remaining balls of dough into butter and coat with brown sugar-cinnamon mixture; arrange in layer over strawberries.
- Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until top is golden brown.
- Meanwhile, in small bowl, beat together glaze ingredients until smooth and creamy. If necessary, add more powdered sugar or milk to create a smooth, thick glaze.
- Remove bread from oven; cool in pan on cooling rack 5 minutes. Place serving plate upside down over pan; turn plate and pan over. Remove pan. Top warm bread with cream cheese glaze. Serve immediately.

I live by 2 strawberry farms and when it is strawberry season this is requested by my family & friends.

- 1. Grease and flour a bigger size loaf pan (9"X5").
- 2. Mix the 3 filling ingredients with a mixer and set aside.
- 3. Hand mix (IMPORTANT to Hand Mix) the ingredients for the bread till mixture is moist, be careful not to over mix. Put 1/2 of bread mixture into prepared pan & smooth to edges of pan. Next cover with the filling & smooth to edges of pan. Lastly top with the remaining bread mixture spreading it evenly and topping with the garnish & press the pecans into bread - so they bake into bread.
- 4. Bake till toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean & mixture is solid when you lift the pan and shake it, I usually check first at 1 hr. Cool for at least 15 minutes on a cooling rack and then remove from pan. Cool completely before slicing with a serrated knife. Store any leftovers in the refrigerator.
