Strawberries With Tequila & Black Pepper image

An easy summertime dessert. Cook time includes 3 hours of chilling. Might be good served over ice cream. ( Adults only!)

6 c fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
1/2 c orange juice, fresh
1/4 c tequila
2 tsp ground black pepper
2 tsp balsamic vinegar
6 sprig(s) fresh mint, for garnish

Steps:

  • 1. Combine first 5 ingredients in a bowl; toss well.
  • 2. Cover and chill 3 hours, stirring occasionally.
  • 3. Spoon into compote dishes or Margarita glasses.
  • 4. Garnish with mint sprigs.
